Don't blame me. I don't bother with soufflés much. To be honest, it's an awful lot of work for something that is more impressive to look at than to actually make. It's one of those things that sounds impressive because of tropes, actually (soufflés are only fragile during baking... and modern science has actually mitigated that problem). There are minor points of technique that do help in making one, but that's just a question of expediting the process.

You can find plenty of suitable soufflé recipes online. Since people did ask me about it on Twitter, if you just swap lime juice and lime zest in for lemon in a lemon soufflé recipe, you can make a perfectly acceptable lime soufflé. Texturally, it's like an absurdly fluffy cake, while the flavor is a bit custard-like (for a sweet soufflé; cheese soufflés remind me a bit of omelets).

Or it's actual information and glossing over it with paranoia simply means the GM's win through reverse psychology.

Either way, it's too little information to build off of... I do think it's interesting that the GM's are continuing to update things. (nostalgia?)
