Oh, hey, one last little bonus bit, for those interested:
One thing that's an ARGfest tradition is to do a mini-ARG on the last day called FestQuest. This year, it was surrounding a mysterious circus called Sawtooth Circus that we were trying to prove worthy of joining. They divided us into teams, and we wandered around Seattle to prove our worthiness.
As it turned out, Jack and I ended up on the same team, which led to the quote in
this tweet. It was a great team overall - no infighting, great cooperation, and we combined to have the skills to handle the challenge readily (in fact, due to various factors, we finished ahead of the team who started before us).
I bring this up mostly because they've posted a few pics from it on Flickr, just so we have proof that there's at least one point where one of the puppetmasters from this ARG worked with one of the players.
Team 3, group shot. You'll note me in trademark Hawaiian shirt and hat, second from left; Jack is in the green shirt, far left.
And at the end, with us victorious. This time, Jack and I are flanking, because we must watch all in our care. (Also, for the logic behind that particular spot - the last puzzle involved us trying to find the circus ringmaster following only some photographs taken as clues. A closeup of the 62/63 in that sign was the last photograph clue.)
