The Last Echo

On Saturday I visited a friend in San Francisco. This friend has an iPhone. We went to the location of the one remaining Echo, but we couldn't find a parking space and I was under some time pressure and after a good deal of time circling the area we gave up.

The following day I had this exchange with Tom.

Then today, he sent me the following email, with the attachment you see below.

After the artist delivered this image, we sent back directions to change the costume to be a little more reasonable. Those directions were followed for the subsequent images, but we'd already paid for this one, and Eddie didn't want to pay again. Most of us found this image disappointing, so none of us were really sad when it was the only echo not found.


Though I can understand why the Puppet Masters weren't as pleased with this image as they were with the others, I am still VERY glad to finally get a hold of it. This whole thing was just hanging over me like so much unfinished business.

I feel like I've been primed in some way to think this, and yet... The dialogue is hilarious, and perfect. The accompanying image takes away from it a bit.

Hey, doesn't matter if the echo isn't as good as the others. We have all of them now! :D

Mandatory attempt at WMG: Morgan had arrived recently and was under the impression that she should look like a temptress to be intimidating and be able to do thing freely. She learns better after a while watching our world.

Why should we do the right thing?
