I figured I'd do a bit of shameless self-promotion this morning. I've been running a blog for the past month or so called Webcomics Worth Wreading. Every Tuesday I put up a new post discussing a different webcomic that I like. Feel free to check it out if you like, or totally ignore it if that's what you prefer.

Those of you who were in the chatroom Saturday night may be expecting a post about Dresden Codak. However, as I mentioned in the chatroom sometime after that (Sunday or Monday, I don't remember) Dresden Codak has been delayed until next week. Instead, please enjoy this post about Family Man.

Have you/do you plan on making any post about Webcomics in general? The phenomena of webcomics and stuff?

Because I'm going to make a magazine and I wanted it to be one of its topics

I don't have any plans to write a general post about Webcomics, but I might write something like that at some point. Especially if there's a specific call for that type of content.

Scenes From a Multiverse. This is a comic by the same guy who did Goats, the comic that got me obsessed with webcomics in the first place.

Goats is not only currently on hiatus, but the website is completely down. However, I am told that the website is being rebuilt and will come back better and stronger than it was before. You can expect to hear a lot of squeeing from me when that happens.

But meanwhile, Scenes From a Multiverse is here for us.

Nice. But is it true that once you tell someone you're an engineer, the conversation is over? That seems like an awful lot of interesting wasted conversations.

It's actually not really true in my experience, but apparently it's true for some people. And there is often a kind of awkward, "Oh, you're an engineer? What... what exactly does that mean?"

Something tells me it has to be used like "I was frozen today!"- at the climax of a heated argument, when everyone's yelling at the top of their lungs.

A Softer World is a guilty pleasure for me. It's both beautiful and occasionally very disturbing. I also read his 'fake interview letters', up to just past the point where he stopped actually SENDING them to companies (the police showing up on his doorstep thinking he was... I don't know, either a criminal or a suicide risk, most likely the latter) were kind of an impetus for him to stop. He apologised to the company though, which was nice, and continues to write the letters. He just doesn't send them anymore. That was the same guy, right?

Yeah, it's the same guy. I've only read a smattering of them, though.

Not so much suicide as some disturbing suggestions of a VERY criminal past.

Also they only get crazier after that point, since he didn't need to restrict himself to real job postings. They're hit-or-miss, but I'd call them all totally worth reading.

I really should check out this blog, but I haven't extensively done so yet, which makes me an awful human being. It's really cool that you have a blog though

Also how do you feel about guest writers? Pretty sure some of us would like to write for you IF you don't feel like writing Or maybe on your birthday? I don't know >->
