Laconic:
Snowflame pilots the Mechagodzilla as part of the Cocaine Resistance against the Grayface Space Nazis who are attempting to eradicate all forms of enjoyment. Gaston is a Grayface ace pilot, Snowflame's archnemesis and pilots the Mecha-Ghidorah. The Cocaine Resistance is spearheaded by Luke Skywalker and Captain Nemo (the Force is now a banned recreational activity) and the Grayface is led by the mysterious Khan, with his subordinates The Major and Starscream. Starscream is sent as a double agent to the Cocaine Resistance, pretending to defect.
Mid-series/story, a third faction appears. NERV and the Novus Orbis Librarium (NOL) have merged to form the NERVOL, attempting to bring about a Black Beast Instrumentality. NERVOL's leaders include Gendo Ikari, Chairman Durandal and the Imperator. NERVOL fears Snowflame will bring about a Cocaine Instrumentality. Around this point, a mysterious force of ELS-esque mecha-bees appear and attack all sides, for all intents and purposes appearing as hostile aliens controlled by the Emperor Palpatine. The Bees are secretly master-minded by Arakune from NERVOL and Swarm from Grayface, who wish to bring about their own Bee-strumentality. Starscream betrays Grayface and joins NERVOL.
Later on, NERVOL and Grayface merge to form Anti-Cocaine, but Arakune and Swarm come up with a big reveal, Palpatine is shown to be a bee-controlled figurehead, resulting in a three-way mecha space battle between the Cocaine Resistance, the Anti-Cocaine and the Bees. Starscream is revealed to have been working for the Bees all along. This battle comes at a critical moment when Snowflame attempts to carry out the Cocaine Instrumentality, but is interrupted by the Bees.
Khan is revealed to be Snowflame's son and Khan killed Gaston's parents in the past, resulting in Gaston hatching an incredibly convoluted plan to infiltrate Khan's military and assassinate him. Gaston knows of Khan's heritage, thus explaining his more-than-nemesis-hate for Snowflame, whilst Snowflame hates Khan for banning cocaine. Gendo Ikari backstabs Khan at the crucial moment because Khan killed his wife. It is then revealed that Gendo Ikari is Gaston's father; ie, Gaston is Shinji Ikari.
The Major is also revealed to be a defective clone of Gendo Ikari. Originally, Gendo tried to splice himself and attempt to clone his wife back into existence. The Major was the defective result and Gendo decided to use him to infiltrate Grayface operations. Gendo has an army's worth of self-clones, forming the bulk of his forces, a la Gaga Forces.
This results in a three way struggle between Gendo, now having assumed direct control of both NERVOL and Grayface, the Bees, and Snowflame to determine the nature of Instrumentality. Will the collective unconsciousness of Humanity merge? Will they all be high when they do so? Or will they all be bees?

If you can make it better, don't make it sentient.
