(Okay, I said last week that I wanted to try a playtest for the game I'm working on, but that kind of fell through. So I'm just gonna type out mostly what I had planned and the next attempt we can just use original characters.)

Katie [Silhouette]: they kinda have a point there, nick. your rules do tend to get a bit out of hand if we don't point them out early.
Nick [GM]: No they do not!
Katie [Silhouette]: you are making us play superheroes, which, from a story perspective in a fantasy world, makes no sense to anyone who isn't you!

Nick [GM]: Can we quit complaining about my house rules and just get to playing the game already?
Bobby [Megaton]: Can't, still waiting on Tony.
Katie [Silhouette]: i'm not done here, nick. how exactly do we reconcile the dual-race thing?
Nick [GM]: I emailed the dev, he says it is like what the Abyssal race was before it got fleshed out.
Katie [Silhouette]: so how does this affect our characters, story-wise?
Nick [GM]: Doesn't matter, this session does not involve any NPC interaction. It is a test of the first boss that made it into the book.
Bobby [Megaton]: So, unless it has minions, I only get one kill. Why am I even here?
Bobby [Megaton]: Dibs on kill shot.
James [Golem]: You would, Bobby.
Eric [Comet]: Holy shit James actually said something
Jason [Railgun]: Praise the Lord and his miracles! :!
Nick [GM]: I could have found anyone to play this.
Nick [GM]: But I found these people.

Nick [GM]: *sigh* Bobby, where the hell is Tony? I would like to salvage at least some of this session.

Jason [Railgun]: Just ask for a day shift, dude. We're tired of working around your increasingly-erratic schedule. >:|

Katie [Silhouette]: i'm writing about the cosmic stuff until you start the encounter.
Eric [Comet]: Yeah ready when you are
James [Golem]: Whatever.
Jason [Railgun]: Let me make some changes to my sheet first. Otherwise, I'm good to go.
Bobby [Megaton]: Let's get to the killin' already!
