Couple questions:
1. Who's gonna think of the quiz questions?
2. I'm not on here that much, so a notification one hour beforehand might not reach me in time... Help?
3. 1:00 on a thursday means thursday early in the morning, right?
4. EDIT: answered

I also have two category suggestions: Books and the ARG.

1. Zup and I can make up some of them. wWe were also thinking of asking the people who aren't, or can't be, in the quiz, to make their own suggestions and send them to us. That should provide a lot more variety than if it were just the two of us.
2. Then we'll make sure you get alerted well in advance on the day it's going to happen. We'll send you a PM the morning, or something so you can at least get the rough time right.
3. Yes. Timezoning is proving to be a problem.

The ARG is a good one, yeah, and literature works for books.

If you tell me some questions you're thinking of, maybe I can think of some too. Also, I may be able to play too. But the most probable scenario is that I will start and I won't finish (presuming each round will take one hour).

Thanks a lot :3
The hours I have chosen should be correct for me, right? As in, they're changed according to my timezone?
Also, another suggestion for a category: videogames. (Yaybino?)
Also also, can anyone give me an example of what the quiz is gonna look like? Just curious.

Currently, we're thinking that the categories will be:

"What's that Quote?"
"What's that Trope?"
"Anime"
"Video Games"
"Television and Movies"
"Literature and Comics"

and any others we come up with. :P

And somebody down there mentioned the ARG which could also be good :D

Yeah that's fine (I think we're leaning towards thursday night/friday morning (mine and Zup's time) at this point but we still haven't settled that for sure.)

Still working on how it'll look, Zup gave you some of the possible categories, we'll have a post that gives better details soon, but we're thinking there will be several questions per section (including perhaps bonus questions that give extra points), and everyone has a set ammount of time to answer each question before continuing.

"Cartoons?"

"Eastern and Western animation"?
"Literature"?
"Manga and Comics"?
"Web and New Media"?

Are you talking with yourselves between PMs?

We are, yes, but we're listening to your suggestions here too :) You've all made a couple we haven't even thought of (can't believe I forgot literature...)

Also, guys this may be obvious, but if you're IN the quiz you can't really come up with questions for it.

I also want to make sure we don't have TOO MANY questions, because I can't stay up too late if we start late to begin with! But I agree, Eastern + Western Animation, Web and New Media are good. And Manga and Comics together too so we can have more questions there, and free up Literature to have its own section. And "The Wall Will Fall" should of course be a section.

You might wanna add that if it's important ;)

Got it. (Not sure it is anymore, I think I was just being pedantic, but thanks)

You're welcome :P
Also, can somebody ask Cheshire for some simple riddles which we can use? Then maybe he will join us and tell us if we've got them right.

Yeah we've noticed :( We're gonna do our best to fit as many in as possible, though, and it's not a sure thing yet (if we can't fit people in, would you be adverse to helping contribute questions for the quiz?)

Well we'd tell him not to make it too terribly difficult of course, as there is a time limit :3

I can try to think up some. Saturday seemed to have a lot of votes too when I last looked, and I have that evening totally free. How's that going?

Have looked at it again. Wednesday is a horribly busy day for me, but I think I could make it in the evenings then too if we had to.
