Don't forget that in the original, some people did more than one line, so there are potentially slots free. :)

Also if we do new people we should edit the spoken-person-specific lines to suit the people singing them (I'm never gonna catch up now/ Can we all please stay on topic?/ Does anyone here remember Morgan's tropes?/ Mr. A's got me stressed as hell/ Hope LJS won't see through me/ I think Don Quixote just attacked a bus). Failing that, assign them to people who still make sense singing them.

I hardly think being on one version and not the other counts as being left out, but if people would rather just have EVERYONE in one giant collaboration... I'm game. :)

Let's just get a full chorus of everyone for the whole song. What could possibly go wrong (no but seriously if we can make that work we totally should

The problem we ran into on the previous version was editing it together to sound coherent. But if we can make it work.... Yes, that would be SO epic. :D

One way to maybe make it work is make a standard-- one person records it, posts the audio; everyone else records themselves while listening to that first recording so we're all synched.

That would be what Mimsy and I did with Scarab's audio last time.

I just thought of something. If you do want me to do editing, would you like me to try to tune everybody's voices, as I did last time?

I'd ask everyone else about that, if they say yay, then yes :) I will have to start a thread regarding the redo of this.

I wouldn't mind having my voice tuned.

Considering how terrible my singing voice is, I would not mind this at all.

Same here. Actually I don't have a singing voice, according to my friends it's just me speaking into an (more than usual) annoying way.

I probably need it if I ever stop being the bass background. Mimsy might be able to pull it off without, though.

Bass background? Sounds like something I can contribute to, provided I actually end up contributing this time around. :P

Not sure what tuning's all about, but my vocal range is pretty wide. I'm always comfortable as a soprano, 90% comfortable as an alto, and 75% as a tenor, depending on the key. If that has any merit at all. :D
The voices in my head tell me that we saved the world. However, they also told me that George Clooney's face is on the dollar bill, so... meh. The voices are more fun, anyway.

To my merit, the only thing I can say is that I got a new headset that takes voice things from downright impossible to slightly doable. Assuming I do take part this time (What are you doing Pixel?), then I (Pixel... Stop.) don't mind any edits (You don't need to do this to yourself.) you have to make to it (There, you did it. ¬¬ Don't say I didn't warn you.).

Sophira's skills are certainly a massive advantage when it comes to making everyone's mikes sound reasonably similar XD

Still in. I have no idea if I have any fancy names for my throat, but it'll work out.

Are we also doing Eye of the Troper though? Kinda confused about that :P

Why should we do the right thing?

Just a note, the DL link and the youtube vid for the original are no longer available. I have it downloaded on my computer at home, but when I tried to get it on this one to hear it again, it turns out that's impossible currently. Someone should look into that.

(Yes, I know there is the remastered version for the credits, but there isn't our crazy ad libbing at the beginning and end.)

I could get it up on Google Drive, if nobody else does something like that before I get a chance.
