Okay here's mine. I did it twice, once singing the chant in the chorus and once singing the other part of the chorus.

My microphone is terrible, so I couldn't let my voice get even slightly loud or it would come out all distorted. I think there's still some audio distortion here but it's as clean as I could get it. And since I had to hold back while singing, I'm not totally happy with how it all sounds. It was hard to find the right tone to sound the way I wanted it to without getting too loud for the crappy microphone. This was a problem on "Eye of the Troper" too, but for some reason this one was more challenging. Anyway, this is the best I can do with my current setup.

Perfect The pieces are falling into place, most people have been assigned at least one line now.

Are we going to have the tracks cut out for me to do "HEED OUR EVERY ORDER, AND YOU MIGHT SURVIVE!"? Otherwise I should probably sing it in a normal voice...

I definitely have you down to do that specific line, Sicon, so you don't need to rerecord it if you don't want to.

I'm rapidly running out of lines people can fill, though... I finally figured out it'd be easier to assign lins to people BEFORE I try to splice them together.

Also Guyshane conveniently has an 'almost got it!' at the start of his recording, and I think that, coupled with you and Mimsy's debate, would go nicely with me saying something in the spirit of of '"people can we focus here/can we start?" line before starting the song...

OK, but you need to extend the gap because Mimsy and I perfectly timed it so that his second line hit just before the music kicked in.

Also, are we really going to just have one person singing each line? I thought this was gonna be like one of those /v/ sings vids on youtube where we all sung together.

Tried that, but when it's all of us at once you can't make a lot out. It's just a bunch of noise.

I'm going to try doing it with say, three or so people singing together per chorus, because that works a little better than EVERYONE at once. I'll try both methods and see what works best.

You should probably be able to match up mine to the duet since I was listening to it while i sang for timing and pitch reference

The microphone on my headphones does not work when I plug it into my laptop. I'm gonna use the microphone that's built into my laptop, but this means no background music for me, and as a result I may have to split my recording in two parts. The good news is that I will be home alone for a little while this afternoon, so I will record it then
EDIT: The sentence "That the Cabal lie" kind of messes with the metrum. Probably too late to do anything about that, though

We have a couple of decent renditions of that line. It's meant to be that you drag out the word 'cabal', sort of like "that-the-caaaaaa-bal lie." (I could've really done better with the meter in some places v.v)

Pretty damn good hat, pretty damn good voice I'd go so far as to say a GREAT voice in fact.
