Thanks for waiting for me, milady. I suppose you could go first if you wish to, do you?

Nah, s'cool, I need to think on it anyway. Go right ahead.

I take it that since the last time, Gallium will be more aware of her environment now?

A small info to clarify stuff: I used a long-rage (in this situation, without too much water, but since it's spread through the city, I'd say 100 meters, maybe more) detection ability, so as long as you are touching water he will detect you. Also, his disguise is one, so he looks like human. Sorry for the quality of the post, I wrote it in a hurry.

In a sense, Gallium has a simialr ability, sicne water makes a sound as it brushes against objects, I don't think her range is nearly as wide as your characters is though, as he has a natural affinity with water, she just has an affinity to sound vibrations.

Nah, from what I've heard, echolocation is really freaking powerful. Like, if it's good enough, you can make out distinct shapes from a mile away or something.

Yes, that's a good point, but Gallium's isn't technically using echo location... at least I don't think so. :? So far as I can tell echo location invovles a creature sending out a sound wave, and then seeing where it bounces back to them. Gallium is more... absorbing the sounds around her and reading where the vibrations are coming from. Sje COULD use her voice to trace people, but it'd be tricky: she'd have to focus on singing, and rading the echoes coming back to her at the same time.

She can hear diostance things a bit better if she puts her hands to the floor because sound travels better through solids, but it's basically a glorified verison of that old western trick, where soembody would place their ear to the ground to hearif a herd was coming

I just noticed the name of the Drome 5 is Drome 5, and not Virtual War Drome X. And Xana, you haven't edited the OP yet. (sorry if I'm being annoying, I'm just commenting, not telling you to do anything).

Anyways, what I'm doing in that post is to create a... I forgot the word, I'm going to say "link", but it's the thing that connects both ends, as an antenna or something. I made an wireless link between me and a "place", using the orb of energy to channel my magic to it, thus fueling it up, controling it and allowing me to do some tricks. I'm using my water manipulation through a link made with my magic. But I receive back what it "sees" and "hears". As the elemental does stuff it spends energy, and in a battle it could be spent faster than I can fuel it. And yes, attacking it will damage it, not as if he could endless reform from water. You probably could spend his energy faster than I can refuel it. I could send a shitload of energy to it, but it kinda misses the point, and isn't pratical. Also, the "invisibility" spell is made to hide the orb (through color) and its energy signature. And as it moves after merging with water, it creates a very small wave or even none at all.

Sounds fair enough. Very clever trick you're pulling there, Vic, I like it. Not only are you avoiding entering the field, you're also getting to learn something about how Gallium fights by using the information your Tadpolecam (I can't help thinking of it like that) sends back. Sooo that thing is going to approach Gallium, and it can be destroyed, but that's not much use if I can't even see i...

Oh, wait, never mind. So long as it's making a noise, she's good.

They're actually the roof material... so metal I guess. all Eli did was actually make the roof spikes.

Genndy... water, metal and electricity don't mix very well. Depending on the strength of the attack (and considering that the indentations are over the entire street) you may have just given both of us an electric shock. :?
