Username: Borogove
Build: Medium 2
Weapon: Anything created by his powers. Generally favors the bow and arrow, but can also wield swords - usually curved, single-edge weapons such as falchions or katanas - and lances.
Abilities -
Master of Weapons: Borogove can use just about any weapon with a tremendous level of skill.
Battle Sense - High End: Borogove's reaction times are tremendously quick, and his senses are honed, making him incredibly aware of both his enemies and surroundings. Furthermore, as an expert combatant, he is incredibly good at predicting his enemy's moves just on the basis of experience, and can stay cool even in the middle of a fight.
Powers - [Omitted on account of being ridiculously fucking long ]
A final rule: Borogove CANNOT enter a fight with a pre-made weapon unless it's one he has looted in a previous battle. He will also begin with NO pre-owned weapons. However, looted weapons will carry over effects added to them from previous fights, making named weapons his most powerful items. But, if one of these weapons is destroyed in a fight to create a rune, it's lost for good, and cannot be retrieved - although it can be replicated once inside a battle. Also, pre-owned weapons will be stored in a sort of hyperspace arsenal once gathered, and can be summoned by declaring their name.
Date Created: January 11th, 2013.
Battles Fought: 0
Date Destroyed: Still Alive. This was a triumph, incidentally.

And now you know why I started making absurdly min-maxed power sets...

Actually, I was thinking of outright using the whole "Sun, Moon, Fire, Water, Wood, Metal, Earth" element system, but I decided I'd stick with the Standard Eight Fantasy Elements and the Aether and Void concepts from Alchemy instead.
Anyway, actually, Borogove isn't so much overpowered as he is potentially overpowered. That is, if he gets enough time to charge his weapons. But, you know, your character would fare rather well against him. Even though he's a Lightning Bruiser of sorts, so he could probably outrun your character, your Goliath's Stone Wall-ness would make all but the most powerful attacks ineffective. Of course, given his size, I suppose he'd also be much easier to explodify, but that's another thing entirely.

First, as the description is quite vague and intentionally so. I'll be referencing the Shin Megami Tensei universe gratuitously. Yes, my character can do pretty much anything he wants. But I limited him to Persona-Format, 3-Personas Wild Card. What that means is I can have 3 different sets of skills to make use of. The load out is mutable, so I can go into a battle with a certain 3, the next with different 3.
As a rule: I'll list the 3 Personas' names and ability types as a preface in the first post of any given fight I go in. And for that fight, I'll only have these 3. I'll not make use of Fusion/Summoning new Personas mid fight. That's the justification to switch loadouts in-between fights.
That said, what to expect from the Personas is basically passive strength/speed/resistance boosts proportional to the Persona in question and magic. Which doubles as my ranged combat type. Melee is punching and overall martial arts. If I can get my hands on a weapon, I may use it (Decent Fighter) and super special skills that involve specific weapons count as a magic manifestation. For example: instead of casting a blast of fire, I cast a spear that I use for that one move and it then disappears the same way the magic fire would have dissipated.
As far as "proportional" strength goes, say I'm using a Pixie and punch Vic's titan. Shame on my arm, that's now broken for doing so. If, on the other hand I'm using something like Bishamonten, well, my hand will not be broken. It might even make the titan flinch if I do it right.
I'll add a note to Resistance that, even if I'm on Pixie, you're not one-hit-killing me. It'll hurt like hell, I'll have to fall back and switch into something stronger (if available) and won't be able to take much of a beating, but it's still supernatural resistance to one degree or another. Same applies for speed, I'll be basically on the level of keeping up with anything around normal-fast, unless you have super-speed. In which case I'll need a super-speed Persona up to be able to at least keep track. This also depends a lot, but don't think "human, I just outrun you and you're dead, next fight".
For the specific magic powers, see Alice in the first RP.
No, to be honest, I'll be using the skills and spells from SMT in general, again, limited to the ones available to the active Persona, so unless I'm using Alice herself, there will be no Die For Me spells being fired. Generically speaking: Elemental power violence, the odd Almighty power that ignores all defense/reflection/absorption but it's rare enough that most of the time I won't have the necessary Persona on me, and physical damage overdrives of varied sorts. Oh, and there is Healing as well. But again, a healing inclined Persona is not very good to actually defeat people with. You can work the logistics of having one in the team and what that would entail in the big picture.
Lastly, affinities change. Alice reflects Darkness. So, if I'm using Alice and you fire a dark-aligned skill at me, be prepared to eat it back. On the other hand, she's weak to Light, so if you're a Paladin and I brought her along, I'm pretty much limited to the other 2 or risking a lot of pain. If I switch to another Persona, I also switch affinities, so I might be immune to some stuff for a while, then once I switch I'm no longer immune and might even be vulnerable to that.
Just for reassurance, I'll not be spamming high level Personas all the time. If I did I'd go Metatron, Purple Mirror and Titania and unless you're broken you'd not get a finger on me. If you are broken you might live to the second post. I might even establish a rule to never use the same personas 2 fights in a row if you want me to. And again, all the relevant information about the Personas will be supplied before the fight actually starts, so no one will actually have to fight blind, although the characters might be blind and never knowing what I'll pull off.
To address the brokeness: Yeah, I know I can just pick up skillsets to counter my adversary each match. I'm aware. But with this profile, I can't pull off anything outside using what I choose in the first post, whereas if I went with my previous shapeshifter plan I could pull off those switches into suitable skillsets at any point mid fight. With the current model at least the players won't be fighting me not knowing what skills my character has available. The characters still have no way to know until I actually do stuff. And I limited myself to 3. Normally, Wild Cards are limited to 8. If I went in with 8 there would probably be no weaknesses in my full combined skill list unless I deliberately made the selection to be flawed.
