I would like to announce that I might AMimsyBorogove as our third GM. I am promoting him due to my inactivity as of recently. If Mimsy accepts being a GM and would like to take up the charge please respond to this. Thank you.

I suppose I accept being a GM, but, uh, what exactly am I supposed to make happen for Sparton? Have them get attacked by an army of badgers the moment they reach land? 0.o

Uh, JR? If you scroll up in the RP thread, you'll find that Jester's already gotten things started, and the Olympions should be getting a move on by now.

To elaborate, the bridge was fixed three days ago, and those past three days have been a religious service. The
caravan is now setting out to start going over the bridge etc. The previous statement hyperlinks to the post where this was outlined.

Right I'll be to fixing that I'll just reiterate that with so many long posts it's hard to keep track with what's going on when theres so muc to read.

Maybe from now on we will add a "GM post" banner to the GM posts if it's a problem.

Xana? Just a few things you should really know.
Firstly, badass normal or not, bear in mind that you're fighting an ONI, and on top of that, one specifically listed as having Super Strength as a power ON TOP OF the natural MASSIVE strength of Oni. Breaking Ibaraki-Doji's arm with a punch or kicking him hard enough to send him flying would require ridiculous amounts of power. For example, to actually send him flying off his feet, you'd probably need something on par with a bunker buster missile condensed down to a single, focused impact. On top of this, in your post, you also seem to have almost completely disregarded his shield, which was stated to be gigantic, nigh-unbreakable, and was essentially meant to be in use basically constantly in battles, yet you seemingly just cut right past/through it without even mentioning a thing.
Oh, and finally? They're not technically "regenerating." They're just scattering into mist and reforming, and the Oni's bodies are actually made up of a much greater mass of mist than their apparent size, as evidenced when they appeared by creating a massive cloud of mist large enough to mask an army from view. So, basically, unless Kusanagi somehow has the power to permanently remove whatever it cuts from existence, leaving a permanent void in the fabric of reality where nothing whatsoever can exist in the wake of what it hits... Yeah, you're not going to be dealing irreparable damage so easily. ^^
So, while this one can be explained as "He was just testing you," please take into consideration that the enemies you're currently fighting are pretty ridiculous, alright? They won't just be dropped immediately. On another note, after this first round, I think I'll be pulling a Harbinger. I.E., ASSUMING DIRECT CONTROL. That is to say, once Blurred posts to set up the start of his own battle, I'll be treating all three Oni like player characters. Namely, I'll control their actions to attack you for a while, treating it like a battle in the Virtual War thread rather than a one-turn affair like the first RP. So, yeah, it's now happy fun time. ^^
In any case, could you please remove the whole "I can't regenerate it!" thing? Since he's not technically regenerating, that comment really doesn't make any sense.

I hereby apologize if I make any mistake regarding japanese culture in my nexts posts until the battle in the Sparton campaign is completed. This also includes future posts that might turn to need such knowledge, which I do not think I posses.

However, I do not apologize for any touhou reference I might make. (Dammit Mimsy

Ok then.
My next post will probably introduce my character's love interest, yeah I know it's silly but so is bringing vampires into the mix.
Its unexpected but it will work fine.
Besides I need someone for my character to snark at.

No need to fret dude. I allow all different kinds of relationships in this RP. I remember one time I made an RP on another forum and this couple participated in it. The girl played a Tsun type girl and throughout the whole RP people kept shipping those two until they got together at the end of the RP and it was like the most awesome thing ever. I allow all kinds of relationships to surface in my RP, even among members but that is completely up to them.

Well that's a cool story.
Anyways I'll be writing up my next post soon.

The mountains and trees bit at the end refers to the Olympion territory where you started and that you are leaving behind, then? You still can't really see Unigarond and are only just starting walking across the bridge, you know.
Something interesting should happen shortly for Olympion BTW. Once classes and such are over I'll see what I can do.

Yeah I guess that's the case.
And I really wish more Olympion members posted. Olympion needs as much attention as Athenon and Sparton at least in my opinion.

OK, randomly introduced an NPC that I can control into the Olympion plot because you wanted something to happen. Yes, horses getting upset is stupid, but I'm making stuff up as I go along. No, I have no clue about how this scene will turn out, that's mostly up to you. Yes, the guy's name is Zaine Ekoussu, and yes, that is a weird name. No, I'm not good at this whole naming thing.
Instructions on what to do are at the bottom of the related post. I control the NPCs, you control characters. As this is not a fight (yet) no post order is in play ATM, so you may post whenever you like. I'll try to come around and keep the NPCs busy in the meantime. Should I need to install a post order on this scene (AKA if it becomes a fight) I shall let you all know. There are many solutions, however. Do something interesting.

In other news, still not entirely sure what Edmund's gonna do next. Well, besides mouth off to Qara's character, that is. I don't think he's the kind of guy to step down when his stuff's being messed with, but on the other hand, a brawl isn't exactly a good idea...

Feel free to mouth off to Raivisa, should the spirit take you, but keep in mind that she's already left Edmund's side and crossed the deck. Also the conversation-momentum's kind of been lost, as of Shane's last post.

On my post:
Alia and Mal are under false names to the army. Natalya is just a human, so she doesn't need a fake name.
Alia is Sundry. Mal is Veritas.
The Purple Arrow is one of Alia's thunderbolts, so, it's a Olympion type hit in arrow shape. It's also the symbol that allows the other Olympions to recognize her as being under the guard of one of them (meaning she's not a generic slave and is only bound to obey her guardian). Though in reality she's free and doing that because she wants, for appearances she is an employee of Mal and Alia.
Oh, and she's attending to her duties indeed.

She fell back and is ready to shoot at the sign of a fight. So she's not exactly out of the scene, she just won't interact unless things go to hell or she's called back in.

mmm... Alia's waiting for a response from the inquisitor. I guess she'll attempt civility and avoid a useless fight. so... just don't blow up anything or kill anyone, and you should be good to do as you see fit.
