I just made 90% of the battlefield drop, or rather sort of slide down towards the lake. That is going to screw with character and enemy placement. I'm sure your character and Moukou are still going to be in roughly the same area, but in the rubble, you may find that the enemies around you are no longer exactly surrounding you.

I'd like to try Civil Disorder. Julian's a clockwork dude; he'd want to stick up for his kind. Also, I'm a bit tempted to see if Agora's character would like to tag along; it'd be interesting to see his reaction to the mob and interactions with Julian.

Incidentally, if Mimsy's character ends up getting the spellbook, Julian's probably have some sort of reaction to it- the idea of a legendary repository of arcane knowledge in the hands of someone he associates with going way too damn overboard with fire spells doesn't exactly sit well with him. :P

(On an unrelated note- is it okay if I let Julian get his hands on a sniper rifle when he checks in with the local Clockwork authorities? Or at least something more suited to ranged combat or doing greater amounts of harm than his current weaponry? After that fight with the first warbeast, I think he might need something more suited to heavy-duty warfare than a pair of wrist-knives. :| )

Oh, and his reaction to the mob might be somewhat.. counter-intuitive.

Eh, if you want to go for the sword quest, maybe you can go with Sicon. Xana did say multiple players can tackle a quest, after all.

I think the sword quest is something that would be harder to coop, since the challenge sounds like a one-on-one fight kinda thing. That said, there are still possibilities, and if someone wants to come along, just let me know.

I should finish my sidequest in the next post, which should happen soon. It took me more time than I expected to read what I wanted to, so I'll finish catching up tomorrow and I should have it written before the end of the week.
