If everyone is OK with the idea, I request that you leave the building standing. Mimsy and I want to give it the ol' one-two with added lulz.

Also, if a muscle survives for me to murder, that's even better.

Right, so I just puppyfied three Beta Jackals.

Apropos of some noise in the chatroom-- I gave the puppyfication time as one hour. Yes, it's a little generous, but even assuming simultaneity, fights take time, and I have faith that the next six posts can last me out that hour. If there's a huge problem with that, then feel free to either retcon that as Alina feeling like it took an hour so you can get on with whatever you're doing, or PM me and I'll edit the time down to something that fits better.

Oh, and Xana, can I keep the puppies? Pretty please? Adell says I can

Right shorter than normal. However it took about twice the time it normally would because I have no idea how to write a drunk character. And don't worry the BGM will probably run its course before you finish with the post. I know this because I had trouble reading some of this post

So, Sicon, are you planning onto taking the Jackals that are guarding the hole on the wall? I'm planning onto taking them with an explosive arrow. Also, I'm still thinking how much Jackals I should aim to kill asides from those. I suppose none, since there won't be much left. (and that includes Jackals I could have killed before my post, as I were firing arrows)

Qara, you do realize you've given me an in-story reason to shank those puppies, right?

Some of them will be around. I'm taking a few and dealing a bit of damage to the Kraken. I gotta say, you guys set me up perfectly for this post I'm about to make...

NO KILLING PUPPIES. THEY ARE MINE!!!!!!!!
Well, unless Xana is a meanie and says I can't keep them, in which case I guess SOMEONE has to explain their disappearance away. But Xana will not be a meanie, because puppies.

Sicon, is Procyon immune to poison?
If you can make it better, don't make it sentient.

I assume so, since he doesn't have the biology of a human and the dragon description on the application said they were super-resistant to disease and such.

I just have to wonder if puppies are immune to building collapses and subsequent explosions of phoenix fire... :P

So, when it gets to my turn, should I kill the kraken, or just further wound it and leave it to beave- Erm, Endless - to finish it off?

I imagine I'd be fighting as the same time as you, actually. I get my orders, I see the dude hop over to his Kraken, I jump over just in time to see him teleport out, and then I get stabby. All invisible, natch.

If my post sounds as if it was describing your posts happening in sucession instead of the same time, blame me. I'm just making sure my character notices anything she is able to, so it probably will looks like she is describing each post happening on its own time, even though the initial part is probably happening with two minutes, I guess. BTW, I refer to parts of your post, usually the ones at the end. I don't know if that's relevant or not, but I think I had an explanation about seemingly making your posts happen one after the other based onto that. But I forgot it. Anyways, back to writing the part where I do get to do stuff of my own.

One of the reason I am took so long to write this post (and to edit the enemy count in) is, asides from procastination, because I have the uncanny feeling I might be forcing you into writing what I want :? Please tell me if so

Only issue I have is that that first blue explosion caused the building to cave in around you before you jumped out the balcony, and Mimsy just lit the rubble on fire and blasted it apart. Get your collateral damage straight. :P

Yeah... I don't really care. XD

Neat post, Vic.

Should I edit it? Based that you just was sent flying towards the building and a pilar of fire erupted while a kraken is attacking it I would handwave it by saying it was misperception on my character's part :P I do need to get my collateral damage straight, though

Well, damage to the building goes like this:

First, I blow up the smoke, then flash step outside. The building caves inward towards its center as I battle the kraken. All of a sudden, I come flying back through the wreckage, but probably miss all of you, so its not like you notice. A severed tentacle spewing poison and blood may also have crashed into the rubble at this time. That one is up to you guys. Then, from beneath the rubble, a huge pillar of fire bursts forth, stuff goes flying, and Mimsy shows up.

...functional immortality.

Mimsy has functional immortality.

*beat*

Welp, that's an excuse to sit in back and not do anything if I ever saw one. ^^

(seriously, though, Mimsy, if being killed permanently is something your character has to remind herself happens to other people, there's an issue.)

It's also an excuse for me to take Serial Escalation in the opposite direction, and to kill off my character in increasingly ridiculous ways. Although, she's not QUITE immortal, and dying does have some consequences. Basically, I'm doing Death By Origin Story here so she'll be weakened a bit by having to regenerate from near death, hence making things more interesting later along the line.

Consequences don't matter if your character can't be permakilled. Unlike the rest of us, you're not in any danger of losing your character at any time, short of Xana deus ex machina-ing her out of existence. That's unfair.

Just by the way, though I'm sure people are already aware, for now and in future, don't worry about your characters getting seriously injured during battle or coming up with a reason for how they're going to heal from it-- Alina can and will heal you afterward. ^_^

Wrong, actually. Mokou can only keep on resurrecting WITH THE HELP OF KYOJIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII- Erm, no. Actually, she can only keep on resurrecting if her flames continue to burn, and it takes her about a day to regenerate if she actually dies - I say actually here because, for example, she can continue living by assuming phoenix form just before taking a hit, like she did when her torso was obliterated just now. If her remaining flames are extinguished during the time she's deceased, she can't regenerate anymore. Additionally, if she uses too much power, she gets ret-goned, so if she regenerates too much, she'll cease to exist, as well as suffering the same fate if she overexerts herself. Actually, in some ways, she's easier to kill than a normal mortal.
