Watch the Footage

First of two posts is up for our intro. First half is mine, the second part, where it goes to Alex's narration is obviously Qara's. However, that part was actually written first. XD

Anyhow, not much fighting and a lot of character interaction. Unusual for me, I know. Introduced a lot of characters here, some of which were made by each of us. I contributed the Heir to the Earldom of Ashure, and I also made Inspector Hamilton. However, Gary, Arpad, Dale, and Rotem were originally created by Qara when I suggested she interact with a command staff of four or so people. I expanded upon them somewhat with my part of the post.

Second post will go up tonight. I only need a few lines of dialogue from Qara when she gets back, and then we should be ready to go.

In the meantime, I'm surprised no one has done any character interaction. It makes showing up to the scene rather awkward...

Alright.. Now, nobody posted in ten days, so I guess part of it's my error for making this too freeform.

Nobody volunteered either, surprisingly, except eli. Therefore, Chain will make the first post. There isn't a proper post order after that, so pick it up after eli gets it up.

Also, eli is crazy and wants a deadline, demands a deadline, so er, 75 hours from now. Rounding current time up to 5am Monday EST, that means Thursday 8am EST. I uh, won't be around this entire weekend so I won't be able to see how this goes, but I'm hoping that I'll return to some posts Dare I be optimistic?

I'm good to post. I can't see Silas deciding to volunteer, and I don't think he would try to volunteer Alex either, for various reasons, so I didn't volunteer. I was really trying to figure out something I could have Silas do to break the silence, but it wasn't going so well. If things start up again, I'm right here and ready to roll as always.

Michael is good to go. I could volunteer him, but he's not exactly volunteering himself. Regardless, building-sized ice dragon is good to go and swallow anyone who needs swallowing. Or maybe just freezing. I don't think it'd make much difference, to him anyway. Anyway, I'm around.

Alex wouldn't mind volunteering, except he won't, unless Silas tells him to, which, as Si said, isn't going to happen. So. Um. Yeah.

I said I was *surprised* that nobody volunteered. I'm not forcing any of you to volunteer, that's silly and defeating the purpose

Agora. Please don't do that. I almost had a post ready for this too. I'm just kinda tired of instant fight scenes... Can we hold off on this please?

I disagree with you Sicon. Before Agora's post, there was only one recent post, and that was on the 11th of September. Before that, the next post was June 29th. There has been ample time to make a post, and none of us did.

Agora's trying to GM his RP and make it go, which apparently wasn't happening with the storyline he had so far, as evidenced by the 3 month delay. If you wanted to make a post that badly, you had more than ample amount of time to do so.

I was in the midst of writing one this past week, since we talked about it on chat a while ago.If we just go straight to a fight, I'm not really sure I have much to post. I may even end up just staring and waiting for other people to do stuff. This character was never written for direct fights out of nowhere. He just doesn't DO that. He always sits back and observes unless he has something already up his sleeve, so in this case... I don't do much of anything.

I've waited rather long, I'm afraid. Even so, I'll not be known as a railroader (no offense to any in that fine industry). I'm willing to compromise. Tell me how long you need. If it's reasonable, I'll pull back this post (it's gonna come around sooner or later anyhoo) and then you'll post by that time. If it's not reasonable, I leave it as it is. Besides, your character doesn't HAVE to fight. He can always decide to chase after Noad, or some such. I'm sure you've got tons of creative ideas, you always do. At any rate, characters in unexpected situations always make for more fascinating characterisation, no?

Most probably he will just stand there and let other people do stuff if a fight happens out of nowhere. But in any case, give me until tomorrow evening and I'll have a post for you, and when my clone gets back on Saturday, her character is probably also going to start interaction. We shall see if we can get people talking to each other for a bit before the explosion happens.
