You wake up in the middle of a busy city street. People don't seem to notice you are there and don't seem to take the time to move around you, because they pass right through you. Suddenly your phone rings with the sound of a text being received.You have Seven Days, Each Day you will receive a mission, at the end of the seven days you and the seven other players in this session will be judged, and prehapse brought back to life

Suddenly the memories rush to you, a few minutes ago something had happened and you had slipped into darkness before waking up in the middle of the street. You look around and see other people getting off the ground and looking around confused. The phone rang again and a new text was received. "Mission One, Survive the Next Three Hours and Discover your Power"

A loud roar filled the street and the world around them began to shake. Something was coming, and they needed to get away.

What you see is what you get for this one. Seven players are forced to work together to come back to life. Each player would be given a different power which would evolve each day to become more powerful. Players would also receive points for their actions during the mission, which would create a divide between the players, but they would also need to realize that they need each other to survive the various missions. Plot twists and craziness all around. Thoughts?

Also all characters will have lived in the city when they died.

Character Sheet
Name: Malek
Age: 20
Appearance: Slight build, average height; black hair and blue eyes. Pale enough that ghostly scars would show up brightly on his skin, if he didn't cover up so carefully.

Power: Manipulation of pain
Backstory: He got impatient with waiting for the police to come up with leads when his younger sister went missing, and went off to investigate for himself. He found more than he had bargained for.
Motivation for resurrection: He must avenge Melissa (and, uh... himself). Or, if it's not too late yet, rescue her.

Name: Caleb Kingstone
Age: 24
Appearance: Tall with a lean build, black messy hair and black eyes. He wears contact lenses, but hides the fact from everyone.
Power: Can generate electrical currents.
Backstory: A rookie police detective investigating a kidnapping ring. Unforunately, he got too careless while looking for clues inside a hidden factory and got pushed towards an electrified fence.
Motivation for resurrection: He's still has got a job to do and he won't let death stop him from stopping the kidnapping ring... or his own murderer.

Name: Hans Blake
Age: 23
Appearance: Tall, broad, and menacing. Brown haired and brown eyed, he somehow makes a mullet look intimidating.
Power: Flowers
Backstory: A new bodyguard for the head of a local crime ring, Hans was on break when the pot fell from a windowsill. Who knew a bunch of tulips could be so heavy?
Motivation for resurrection: He left his socks in the washer. And he has his friends to worry about; his employer doesn’t take kindly to carelessness.

Name: Rachel Moore
Age: 14
Appearance: Small even for her age. Short blonde hair that she typically keeps under a cap or a hood. Wide, innocent green eyes.
Power: Time Distortion (able to speed up or slow down small pockets of time)
Backstory: Normally, Rachel works the streets as a pickpocket and a smalltime con artist. However, when rumor started circulating of a lightly guarded pile of cash and valuables somewhere in the city just looking for a new owner, she couldn't resist temptation. She should have know it was a trap. What she didn't count on was arriving at the same time as another burglar. When the guns started firing, they both bolted... toward the same exit. The other thief escaped by pushing off Rachel. Soon the guards arrived to finish off the intruders, and she just wasn't... fast... enough.
Motivation for resurrection: Find the other thief. Find the stash.

Name: Zack Raner
Age: 25
Appearance: Slightly larger than average build. brown hair, blue eyes. Clean-shaven
Power: Chain manipulation
Backstory: Zack had been out having some drinks. He stumbled out after the bartender kicked everyone out. In his drunken state he stumbled into the wrong abandoned factory and saw something he shouldn't have and a gang member hung him by the neck until dead.
Motivation: Find the man who killed him and takes his revenge

Name: Ronove

Age: ??? Appears to be approximately twelve years old. Have fun getting a straight answer out of him.

Appearance: Look above, minus the hat. A strange, white-haired child with a too-large coat and a deformed doll, who perpetually keeps his eyes shut.

Power: Reality Hallucinations

Backstory: A strange child(?), to be sure, and while his age may be in doubt, his demeanor certainly matches his looks. He never answers as to how he ended up in this place, merely saying that he was told he could get to play a game. Unfamiliar to all, his actions are highly unstable, and while he never seems to be more than a cheery child who never opens his eyes, he has a way of being profoundly disturbing. His own seeming mental instability very likely led to his own demise.

...Just pray he doesn't open his eyes, OK?

Motivation for resurrection: Ronove wants to play the game! Games are fun, after all, and he has all of these new playmates. He doesn't appear to understand, or WANT to understand the situation.

Name: No name given, known as Miss Potato
Age: 16
Appearance: Skinny and weak, though agile. Has a long blonde hair she has never cut because she doesn't have scizzors nor money to go to a beauty parlor. Except that one time she was forced to... Though she hides the scar close to her left ear under her goldenlocks. She also has brown eyes which are usually "red" because of all the dirt that irritates them, though she has become quite used to it and has no vision damage... So far...
Power: Disassembly, but it only works by touch and disassembled pieces can be reassembled to the main body by the joint it was taken off (example: if she takes off one's arm by its shoulder joint, the arm can be connected back there with a little pressure or to any part of the owner's body, like the chest or the head, but only by the arm's shoulder, not by the finger or the palm, for instance). For now, it only works on living beings. She also can use it on herself automatically, and her bodyparts can retain some inertia and float close to her (example: she could, if she was experienced, disconnect her arm at elbow lenght to dedge a slash, and then reconnect it right away without touching it).
Backstory: She has lived as an abandoned orphan as soon as she can remember, and has been living in the streets from favors since then. Most of time she'd usually eat and use what she can find in trash and others, but she has stolen small stuff in the past, like a slice of a pie when someone wasn't looking. Though a few people do have helped her, she has met many bullies. Many bullies. She has this incredible bad luck, and has been like this ever since. The events that led to her death had some drunk bullies driving a car which may or not be theirs and hitting her so hard she was torn out to pieces. And then throwing said pieces in the sewers.
Motivation for resurrection: She doesn't even know she'd dead as much as what she's doing, though she certainly prefers to be alive than to be dead. She's depressed but not suicidal.

Name: Gerald Reinhardt

Age: 21

He also has very striking blue eyes.

Power: Water manipulation

Backstory: A bit of a child prodigy, Gerald Reinhardt was always a man of singular purpose. He didn't do well in school, despite scoring well in every exam, as homework bored him. When asked why he refused to complete it, he simply said "There is no mystery. It is flat. Boring." After completing high school, he chose to become a private investigator. When the police couldn't find the evidence for cases, Reinhardt was almost magically able to connect the dots and find the truth. His most famous moment led to thwarting a large-scale bank robbery and destroying a major smuggling ring. Recently, however, a particularly frightened man came to Gerald with a case - the case of his wife's death, which was thought to be a suicide. Afraid to go to the police, the man turned to Gerald, the detective genius. That was Gerald's last case. After managing to piece together a few clues, he mysteriously showed up dead, drowned in a lake. No one mourned - Reinhardt was not well-liked by anyone else - he had virtually no friends, from school or on the police force. But this was no suicide - Gerald was murdered.

Motivation for resurrection: Gerald knows he was silenced - he knows he had a solid lead on the truth of that case. So he seeks to find out who could be so well-protected as to prevent a man from going to the police, and at the same time so secretive to not be a major mafia, denied outwardly but not exactly secret. Gerald will stop at nothing to discover the truth. After all, death is only another challenge to be overcome.

Name: Raiff Metherlence
Age: 20
Appearance Notes: When he uses his powers, his eyes glow red. See the picture at the bottom.
Power: Manipulation of Perception. He can only manipulate the perceptions of targets who can currently see his eyes, however.
Information: A somewhat infamous information broker, Raiff became the go-to person in the underground for anyone who wanted to know something they weren't supposed to almost overnight. With an intelligence network and database that bordered on omniscience, and a talent for predictions and planning that seemed more like clairvoyance than anything else, he seemed to know everything. This, naturally, was a problem in the eyes of many different ne'er-do-wells who, not wanting their secrets revealed, decided to get rid of him. Storming his apartment, they found it empty, however, and a few seconds later found themselves incinerated by an explosive trap he'd left for them. Raiff had planned to fake his own death and go into hiding, establishing a fake body in the apartment, a plan of escape and concealment, and several other carefully thought out countermeasures to fool everyone into thinking he had died in the explosion. However, he instead found himself killed by one thing he couldn't predict: someone had already gotten to him even before he had set his plans into action, poisoning his food so that shortly after his escape, he died ignominiously.

He seems to have some sort of connection or acquaintance with Ronove, although what this is isn't exactly clear.

His weapon of choice is knives of all sorts, of which there are always plenty concealed on his person. He likes knives.

Motivation for resurrection: Quite frankly, Raiff doesn't give a damn about coming back to life. His only objective at the moment is to test himself against whatever missions he finds himself roped into, as a means of challenging his intellect and alleviating his boredom.

Basic Character Sheet
Name: Jamie Killinger
Age: (16-25) : 25
Appearance:
Power: He can change the aspects of things through writing. For an example, if he wrote "5 tons" onto a piece of paper, the paper would then weigh 5 tons. This is a bit screwy with more complicated things however, as he can't write "stronger" on a wall and expect it to withstand atomic blasts/ enraged geckos. As the object becomes more complicated, so does the descriptor.
Backstory: Journalist for the City Times. Not anyone special, just your average schmuck that likes to write, and likes puzzling together mysteries. One day he felt extremely ill, and called in sick. That was the last anyone heard from the bachelor. He was found 5 days later in his apartment, with no sign of forced entry or foul play.
Motivation for resurrection: Jamie has a hunch that there was something more to his death. He needs to figure it out.

A kid with one visible, closed eye, a ridiculous outfit, and a creepy, cackling doll just sneaked up behind you, Jack. Have fun. Also, that narration is really hard to write that way. @_@

Just a note, everything "Emily" says is in a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT VOICE from Ronove's. However, Ronove's mouth is also NEVER visible when she is talking. She also appears to move slightly, such as in this post, without Ronove really seeming to do anything, though he could just be hiding his hands really well. Make of that what you will. I have nothing more to say on the subject.
