It was more of a glide-parachute hibrid in order not to die on the fall. But she could learn some way to actually fly some day... She really wants to anyway. ^^

And the Orrieres imitation was sort of the opposite of Marisa's. The orbs are a power up for Marisa, as she has no magical power of her own and relies on the Mini-Hakkero. Alice's Orrieres Marbles were more of a life link, Alice used those to fuel Kestral's powers with her own energy. If she tried to use the Orrieres Marbles on herself it would do nothing at all. Just 4 big marbles spinning around to no effect.

And now that I think of it... Even I am surprised by Alice's power supply! I mean, Megido and Megidolaon on Mastimas, followed by taking a beating from the clone, then Mamudoon and Die for Me, then against Articuno she kept spammimg Maragi while sharing power to Kestral... Then she got dizzy and weak.

Heh. Yeah. With all the 'Sparks I've been firing, I'm having to wonder just where exactly Marisa is getting all of the bombs - or, if it's Fighting Game terminology, Spell Card Charges - to use them. Fortunately, this Marisa officially runs on a more normal magical energy based system, and since the Hakkero can recharge and she can graze things for power, I've managed to keep things going, mostly with the Ritual Space gambit Marisa broke out to lolpwn CM.

Hey, I was thinking about this the day I was talking to Vic about his character... I think our team has a pretty nice scale of power. ^^

Sliding Scale of Colateral vs Focused Damage

Maximum Collateral Damage

• Marisa - Huge area attacks only. Sparks for single target damage are also highly damaging to the surroundings.
• Sabrac - Biggest area damage potential, but more controled outbursts limiting the acutal area affected. Can use Fuzetsu to avoid collateral damage if necessary.
• Alice - Area spells only. Can fight with low property damage using cards only.
• Red Wizard - Strong area damage in Fireball and potential destruction from thunderbolt. But uses single target Haste and Summon Cow. Limited surroundings destruction.
• Finch - Wind and flame waves for limited area damage, 1-on-1 geared fighting style.
• Isaac - Single target tears. Multiple forms to account for different matchups. No AoE displayed so far.
• Kestral - Shapshifting enables area of effect, main form of damage is still physical direct combat and single target sniping with bow in human form.
• Ulrich - 3-on-1 capability. Phisical 1-on-1 super form. Has the single most powerful single target attack displayed so far with "Nexus Attack Code 002 ~ Laser Circus"

Maximum Focused Damage

I didn't include Marisa's "Love Sign ~ Laser Circus" because it was a gigantic rainbow version that would swallow a wharehouse if used on ground level. Also as awesome as "Shut Up Sign ~ Summon Laser Call" is, it's not really something combat like, unless you're Cherry Tapping.
