Winning bio right there.

Yea... if you want, go put the bio on the character page. That is, if that was serious. Talk to Xana or Vic, I'm sure they can try and work you into the plot somehow. Other than that, just get caught up on the current events.

You did a pretty good job with that post, Finch, but you may want to continue it to the point at which I prepare to speak, just so you do not end up behind.

Also, the attacks did not come all at once, so you may want to react one at a time. The tears come first, just after you fired your arrow. As the tears hit, Marissa turns her attention to you, and a moment later fires those lazers. Then, if you absolutely insist, the cow can come flying at you. ;) However, at that point there is a pause of about 30 seconds where Marissa is talking, then suddenly I attack. I suggest using your shield at that moment, getting buffeted around by the attacks from all sides, and then landing/crashing on the ground. As you look up, I appear, and then you are caught up with everyone else and don't have to worry about reacting to so many things with one post again.

Just had to add that.

I think we could use the character sheets to register our inventories. Also, in-game, Isaac starts with a bomb. Since it's listed as one of his weapons, do I add it? I would add only one, though.
But then I would have to put bombs in the game for me (mainly ) anyways. I'm not sure if I like that.
And as I said, today I won't be able to play properly. Anyway, if it's my turn, I guess I can post and then go. But I am still reading the posts, in this thread, in the RPG thread and in any other thread that updates.

And what did you say about god-modeing again? It's somewhere in this thread, but I don't remember where.

You pretty much need to stick to what the owners of the character said. There is margin for error in there, like Xana said he started walking to Pixel, and Pixel could then say something like "Alice didn't notice [Xana's character] had just walked right up behind her". If you start controlling other peoples characters directly, it's called God-modeing.

Sicon112 wrote:You need to change the last part. That was god-modeing. You cannot ever guarantee that an attack hits unless you do a very long explanation of why it is unavoidable, and even then, it is up to the character's owner to narrate the attack landing/insane troll logic their way out of it, if possible. Otherwise I would just go, "Red flames of doom. First strike, I lolpwn everyone."

Sicon112 wrote:That's much better, Finch. Thanks. Use what my brother and Pixel did as an example, guys. They declared their attacks, and talked about how they fired them at their target. It's nice to put a lot of detail into an attack (If a lot of detail is possible. I'm not sure a normal arrow attack needs any. XD) so that everyone else has a really good idea of what you are doing. And actually, the better you are at conveying your attacks, the higher your success rate will be. Also, it will make the fight scenes awesome.

Answer the question? Also, like my entry?

Yeah, pretty much. I was thinking of how Xana's character and mine were interacting, and also having Flinch in the equation. Also your post was great! Awesome! But, even then, what abouyt this:

It would be better if you add a sentence or so describing what bombs and the other items do, and then say you have them via narration. At least, that's my opinion.

That sounds good, but I'm using a simple excel table to keep track of my deck. Color code for In-Field / Destroyed / Available... I could GoogleDoc it and link in the sheet, but keeping the actual table on the forum would be a pain.

By the way... 3 cards gone so far. Don't worry... I have a planned way of getting more, so the number cards will be slaugthered left and right... shame they don't have blood... Also, I'm not summoning a full deck at once, ever. Unless it's fitting for the ultimate showndown at the very end. But if so, it'll be just for Rule of Cool (trying to out-awesome Sabrac!).

I didn't say I wouldn't, I said it would be better to take notes like that and I was warning you I had a bomb. I don't want you to think I am cheating or anything by having bombs. My characters was broken but only now I managed to fix him. Either way, some of the items are related to the "shapeshifting", so, due to Rule of Fun, I won't even show them. And I agree with the post order being more or less like a guideline. I may allow the game to run smoother. But after some posts (or one big post), you stop, so who isn't here can post normally. And I updated my character sheet with my current inventory.

And PixelMage, there are some cards at Isaac's game too. Check here. I want to see what you will do with them ;)

I only want to have an inventory in the forum to the GMs (me and Xana) and the players (not the caracters) to know what everyone have.

I don't think it is needed, but if you want to put that in the character sheet, there is nothing stopping you. As long as you inform us in your narration, it really doesn't matter, but I suppose when you have a full deck of cards to deal with, that might be useful.

By the way, Vic, did you have a plan for what exactly the place we are in is? I've been going with cave, but you describe it so vaguely that t would be anything. Also, due to the fact that I spent the first two rounds spreading through the ground, Sabrac should have a pretty good idea of where the cave is (i.e. how deep underground) and whether there is a cave system. I'd like to know that so I can plan later posts, so if you could PM it to me, that would be great.

Well, whatever. We are now in a corpse dumping ground or something. That's the fun of an RPG; not even the GMs are totally sure what will happen. Looks like Pixel gets to have some fun though, if I understand his powers correctly.

Then I'll keep the table offline. I have more space on my task bar than on the tab bar. Keeping yet another tab open is kind of a bad deal.

Anyway, if you're thinking what I think you're thinking about my powers... Then you're probably right.

Yup. I was trying to use my entrance to get you guys a chance to get back on the plot, but if Vic is moving to attack me, that may not pan out. Not that I really care either way. Plot=awesome, and blowing each other up=awesome. I'll make my little speech after Xana closes out the round and my brother posts one more time, and then you guys can decide how to react to it.

Anyway... Vic's not attacking you right now, so I guess we have one turn of peace... Unless Marsisa decides do Spellcard your flaming ass. =P

Well, if I had left this normally, Marissa would just blast me this round in the first post. Even if my brother is helping, he still needs to stay in character. However, I posted so that he has to stop where you all stopped because he doesn't know what I will say, so we shall see how this turns out.

Try not to do that again. Everyone else aswell. If someone who's about fourth in the order sets something up, a whole round of "I stand and wait to see what he says/ does" will get dull. Although it has worked quite well this time, it probably won't if it happens every other round.
