I quite like the italics.

I generally use italics for character thoughts...

Also, it doesn't have to be a very important "plot," just something to give the characters some sort of dialogue, instead of just being "Marisa fired a gigantic laser beam. Again." followed by "Sabrac blew up everything with a rain of swords. Again." ad infinitum.

Well, it's moot since so far people have bee talking about a plot based RPG anyway. Now give us a plot, mindslave.

Curse you. Out-meme'd again. But seriously, any ideas? Preferably a plot just ignoring that these people come from totally different 'verses.

The characters have been forcibly ripped out of their own universes and promised a prize if they follow the orders of a mysterious man. The prize is a wish per person who survives.

Not the real plot but a good idea.

Again, can we not involve the original verses? Pretty please? It's been so long since I watched Shana...

Edited the OP to include some rules. Whether it is a FFA or a plot based RPG, we would first need to set up an arena and a goal if it's the latter.
On another subjet, I think we could use the italics. I just prefer the quotation marks because they are faster to type. Also, will it be round-oriented (e.g.: First me, Second NeverSlender, Third IslaKariese, and so it goes). Also, maybe the ( ) may work better for OOC, it is faster to type. Ok, now I was ninja'd with a thought-related inductuon of the italics. Meh, works for me.
I will type an idea then go to sleep  Gimme time. Or better, I already did it. Say your opinion. Or wait for LordXana's response.

Take your pick.

1: Magic.
2: Eirin's testing a shady new drug.
3: Yukari's fooling around again.
4: It's a Moriya Shrine Conspiracy.

Oh, wait, sorry. I forgot that templates like that are forbidden.

Give me some time to think of something that isn't an internet meme... X.X

I just find it a bit more clean to read without adding " " to the text. If it was italic, it means my character said it.

But, I'll settle for whatever format you guys agree on, so " " is fine too.

I don't think I could live without the quote marks. My inner Grammar Nazi would fry my brain.

Aye aye sir. :)

"Why do I have to use these? They don't look like they're dancing! My words like to DANCE!". *Giggles*
"Wait, I can still make my words dance!" *more giggling*

By the way, I'm just going to operate on the vague recollections of Sabrac that I have, so don't expect me to be very close to the original character.

I've been rereading info on my chacters. Got some pretty useful details.

Not quite sure what to respond too...

Also I think that we can explain them being out of character due to the fact that they are no longer in universe. They might be a completely different person outside of the plot.

Well, I got Shanawiki open in another window, so I will be generally close, I hope.

Hmmm... I'm thinking this would have been easier if I'd decided to play as Yukari as opposed to Marisa. "Got bored, popped out of a hole in space time to do seemingly random stuff for teh lulz" can explain just about anything when one is a capricious reality warper. "Yukari's fooling around again" really does work as an excuse for anything, doesn't it?

And he has none. And Isla just has a fox. A little creativity is OK, if he doesn't want to play that way.

Would you want to be attacked by a fox? I wouldn't.

Oh, that's ok, I have a shield! It's made of one of the strongest type of feathers, the feathers of the Great Iron Bird. He swoops down every 20 years and leaves Iron Feathers, which can be smelted into iron. We use some of the iron for walls and doors, both of which are used for protection in our villages.I managed to pick up enough feathers and went to the blacksmith in my town to make the Wing Shield.

Yes, that is part of a backstory I've thought up.
