Why am I seeing nothing in your post aside from the quote?
Really good question, the answer being I have no freaking clue. Anyway I was just saying so long as you don't make it godmodding making it as awesome as you want. Just don't say 'and my laser was stronger than the knights armor so than it died" and I am cool with whatever.
Actually, despite my ridiculous power levels, my attack WASN'T strong enough to break their armor. I just assumed that the armor was, as far as the RPG goes, completely unbreakable, since you used absolutes in your post. Therefore, I just creatively abused physics to kill them in a way that was probably worse for them then what would happen if the armor broke.
Out of curiosity, the suits we are talking about here are standard, if ominous looking and magically amplified, plate-mail, correct? Would that mean that there are tiny gaps in the plates that can be used as attack points? I operated under the assumption that their were, but they were, of course, in non-vital areas and just used it to paralyze a knight for a few seconds, a trick which didn't even play out. If you decide that that wouldn't work, just tell me and I can remove it.
But yea, there really wasn't any godmodeing. I even took two hits and something happened to Sabrac that made him... well not quite
angry, just ever so slightly upset. He doesn't really ever get angry.
Normal people are the easiest to manipulate. Too smart and they have an annoying tendency to catch wind of your plans, too dumb and, in the words of a certain pirate, "You can never tell when they are about to do something incredibly...stupid."
