Play-By-Post RPG/Discussion, sign-up and rules

Be a knight in shining armor, a troll under a bridge, a helium-seller in a steampunk world...whoever you want to be.

Finch, there is just a slight problem. The Knights are ARMORED. With impenetrable armor. To kill them you must destroy the brain sac on the back. You cannot puncture the armor, and there are only a few gaps in the plate mail in non-vital areas, so cutting off heads cannot happen.
Normal people are the easiest to manipulate. Too smart and they have an annoying tendency to catch wind of your plans, too dumb and, in the words of a certain pirate, "You can never tell when they are about to do something incredibly...stupid."

Finch's post both gave me a headache and made me vaguely nostalgic.
The voices in my head tell me that we saved the world. However, they also told me that George Clooney's face is on the dollar bill, so... meh. The voices are more fun, anyway.

Out of curiosity, are the knights capable of making noises? Just like, animal sounds. Weird ass creepy ones.

OK, good. I figured they would. Adds to the awesome creepiness factor of them. I gave them zombie/slash animal level intellects, AKA nothing above basic instinct, but a huge amount of speed and strength.

It's obviously not a weak point, so then is it a hint of who/what sent them?

Did he destroy the knights cutting through their armor? Or hitting in a weak point that isn't the brain? AND he leveled up.
That doesn't seem right. What do you think, Xana?
Just for you to now, this is what a knight looks like in-game: (how do I add pictures?)

Well, if it's online, you just need to use the image code like you are linking a URL.

The only two titles that put X's on their enemies that I can think of off the top of my head are Kingdom Hearts and Shugo Chara, but I don't think that's what you're going for.

I think he stabbed through its helmet, which doesn't really work. Also I think that was a joke so I don't really mind I just don't want to see everyone do that every post.

The words "a bit" do not suffice to describe how hardcore you made those guys. ^_^

Yup. The moment you are done, Xana can post. I'll get my brother in here as soon as he gets back home (he is away ATM, but due back shortly) and we will go from there.

Whoever has the last post from when the creatures appear finish off the last one and I will make my next GM post.

It was 14/20 right before Finch's (by the way, edit that Finch. There were only 20 knights, not 40).

I think it's down to 13/16 before Vic's.

Great to know. Also, since the knights are from my character's game, I already know them.
