Mankind in its present state has been around for a quarter of a million years, yet only the last 4,000 have been of any significance. So, what did we do for nearly 250,000 years? We huddled in caves and around small fires, fearful of the things that we didn't understand. It was more than explaining why the sun came up, it was the mystery of enormous birds with heads of men, and rocks that came to life. So we called them 'gods' and 'demons,' and begged them to spare us and prayed for salvation.

In time, their numbers dwindled and our numbers rose. The world began to make more sense when there were less things to fear. Yet, the unexplained can never truly go away, as if the universe demands the absurd and impossible.

Mankind must not go back to hiding in fear. No one else will protect us, we must stand up for ourselves.

While the rest of mankind dwell in the light, we must stand in the darkness to combat it, contain it, and shield it from the eyes of the public, so that others may live in a sane, normal world.

We secure. We contain. We protect.

A MESSAGE TO ALL ON-SITE PERSONNEL
In light of the recent containment breach, O5 command has demoted the staff of Site ██ to only be authorized in the containment of Safe-class Objects. Until such a time that the proper containment procedures have been reinstated, any Euclid- or Keter-class Objects are to have all testing immediately ceased and contained until Mobile Task Force ██-█ can retrieve them. Safe-class Objects are not to be removed from the facility.

RE: A MESSAGE TO ALL ON-SITE PERSONNEL
What that lovely email from our esteemed Overseers left out, is that most of us are lucky they didn't just nuke the place to save themselves the trouble of cleaning this up. Furthermore, Agent ██████ has been terminated and all Objects secured. But once the MTF takes all of our Euclid and Keter Objects, they're not coming back out here if we screw up again. If we do, we're lucky if we get knocked down to D-class.

Position: Researcher
Appearance: Middling height, dark hair with bits of grey. Eye color is inconsistent. She blames working for the Foundation, her coworkers secretly wonder if she was always like that.
Personality: Her job has been stressful for her, and she's become snippy and abrasive over the years. She holds herself and everyone else to a high standard, and she rarely finds that that standard has been met.
Specialty: Resident expert on toxins and antidotes. Any time people have been directly exposed to a dangerous substance, she's the one to call.
Other: She's trying to figure out a way to retire from the Foundation. This job isn't good for her. However, the alternatives are... shall we say... less good.

Name: Anna R. Weston
Age: 22
Position: Field Agent
Appearance: Long blonde hair and very pointed facial features. She is rather pale, and when she wears gray, her hair is the only bright color about her. She is a bit wispy but surprisingly good at running for her size and how often she remembers to eat.
Personality: Anna has only recently joined the Foundation, and she is still eager to work and do exciting things. Her passion for what she does sometimes leads her to neglect her friends, but she will have sudden bursts of affection for those who stay by her.
Specialty: The occult in general, but she works best with ghosts and echoes of death, since she has a connection to them.
Other: There are rumors that her connection to ghosts comes not from an innate ability but because she died and managed to come back. Those who believe these rumors insist that this is why she looks so pale and ghost-like herself.
