"Not so fast," Lucy cut in, grabbing the other pilot by the neck and pinning him to the wall. "I've got a question for you- maybe more, depending on your answers. Earlier today, you dropped in on a conversation between pilot Crowe and I. Precisely how long were you eavesdropping?"

Butch looked to Lucy quite calmly and replied "I was not eavesdropping at all. I couldn't hear anything from the distance I first saw you two at. I simply walked in to greet you and Crowe because you two are my fellow Flight Frame pilots." Suddenly Butch pushed Lucy's hand off his neck and pulled his other hand out, showing off some sparks emitting from his hand.
"Now then. If you attack me like this again, I wont think twice before I give a bit of a shock." Butch added, giving Lucy a threatening look.

"Attack?" Lucy smirked. "That was a warning. If I was actually attacking you, you'd be lying in a puddle of your own blood right now. Still might end up that way, in fact. Just being friendly, you say? You do that with all the pilots, or just the ones trying to hold a private conversation?"

"A warning huh? I'll keep that in mind." Butch stated back, slightly making the electricity from his hand glow stronger. "As for the conversation. I had no idea it was private, it didn't seem that way. As I said, I was being friendly and I am friendly to anyone, except those who don't act the same back."
Butch quietly moved away from Lucy, still keeping his eyes on her, asking "Besides why are you so hung up on me supposedly hearing your conversation with Crowe? Is there something you're hiding from us? Or are you just that insecure?"

Miguel watched as the meeting devolved into arguments. Adding his own perspective to the fray would, most likely, just increase the level of mayhem in the room, so he kept silent. When the captain dismissed them, he nodded.
"Just one thing. If you're amenable to input, Captain, I'd like to take some time to examine the schematics on my own, and then discuss a more detailed plan of attack with you. Taking care with our attack will be necessary if we want to keep casualties to a minimum."

"I did say the conversation was private," Lucy said. "Of course I have something to hide. Everyone has something to hide. If you actually want to be friendly, I suggest you respect that."

"Well then. I'll echo that sentiment. Sorry for accidentally barging in on your private conversation. I wont do it again." Butch replied back smiling smugly, adding "Though act like this to me again and I'll show just what I can do." Butch then showed off the electrical sparks covering his whole body.
Butch then quietly walked off for the hangar, getting ready to be dressed in his piloting garb as he swung the Orion's key on his index finger.

"Smooth," Said a chipper voice as the previously silent Meriwether rose from where he'd been slouched by the door, adjusting his spectacles. "I suppose that's one way to find something out, but it also gives him a reason to try and find out what he missed, yes? Next time, let me do the talking. I'm good at talking. Had a lot of practice." Flicking his overly long hair away from his eyes, he strolled away, but, as he brushed by Lucy, he dropped his glasses. Bending down and picking them up, he began to dust them off, seeming fairly inconspicuous as he whispered something almost inaudible to his fellow pilot.
"I'll contact you once we're in our frames, if you're sure nobody can hear us. The Yukianesa isn't tapped. I can confirm that personally, just so we're sure. If the channel's safe, during sensor tests, target my frame, then that man's." He nodded ever-so-slightly to the retreating back of Butch before continuing. "If the channel isn't safe, then reverse the order. I'll be waiting."

Still glowering at Butch, Lucy whispered back, "I damn near built that Chariot from scratch, Sunshine. My frame's fine." She paused for a moment, glancing at the floor, then continued, "Still, if you want answers, you might as well stop by my quarters when you get the chance. There's only so much we can talk about while piloting, and I prefer to stick to business when I'm in the harness."
Then, stretching her arms over her head, she said loudly, "You know, I really don't care for your snark right now, Crowe. Poke your head into my business again, and I will hit you. Got it?" She shot Meriwether a quick glare, then turned towards a nearby exit and strode off. "Now, if you'll excuse me, I believe I'm long overdue for a shower."

Butch emerged out of his quarters dressed in the full Flight Frame piloting suit. The large metallic suit covering up his entire body from head to toe. Butch quietly removed his helmet from his head and breathed a full breath of air.
"Damn it's stuffy in there. Gonna have to get used to this." Butch remarked to himself, holding his helmet to his side as he walked down to the ship's hangar.
Arriving beside the Orion with the key in his hand, Butch quietly sat on a seat beside the mech's entry patiently awaiting the call to go out and fight.

Sam waited until most had left the cabin before turning to his maps, folding and organizing them mindlessly.
Aug stood against a wall silent, with a human that could have conveyed anything from disapproval to boredom but the gesture was a bit harder to decipher with a robot.
“You said you had information for me?”
“Only if you ask the right questions, Captain.”
Sam smirked. “I see from your dossier that you come from the ship itself. Is that correct?”
“It would be improper phrasing to call it correct Captain. It is better to say that to the best of my knowledge I come from the ship. Soren has told me of multiple meetings between himself and I that I cannot recall, suggesting that they wiped my memory semi-regularly.”
“You would prefer not to return, then.”
“To the prison that forced me to do dirty work for an inefficient governing body and frequently interfered with my processes?” The robot’s monotone seemed to gain a note of anger. “I suppose ‘prefer not to return’ is one way of putting it. However I would put it more in terms of….How would humans say it? Bastards have it coming, just not yet.”
Sam’s smirk turned fox-like for a moment. “I see. Well, Aug, is it? I fully intend to rob them blind.”
Aug’s eyes readjusted and he mimed a blink. “That would be...difficult. Soren escaped because he is an ancient predator of your kind with much experience and I only escaped due to a gap in assignment intelligence. The Spectres do not take any sort of disobedience lightly.”
“Which is why we will not disobey them. I will give them their slaver, and they will give me their bounty.”
“Number one.”
“Yeah boss?”
“Did my...handlers perchance eliminate my memory of the definition of the word ‘robbery’ and incorrectly replace it with ‘to unrightfully take something which someone legally owns?”
“No boss.”
Aug nodded and looked back at Sam. “Captain, I believe further explanation is required.”
“There’s a second priority on this mission. A piece of tech, Old World. Polis is in possession of it, and the Underworld 003 wants it. We aren’t letting them have it, and we’re collecting our bounty.” Sam eyed the little robot curiously, but said nothing more.
“I will assume that you are aware that Underworld is quite fanatical in their acquisition of Old-World technology or specimens. This will include both this device as well as Rosencrutz as well as myself, if I do not misjudge the guards reaction to me.”
“I am.” Sam’s eyes glittered. “This is a smuggler’s ship. I suppose we can smuggle you. Alternatively, I’m going to have a small emergency during the battle, and have to release an escape pod. I would assume that setting my dead sailors off on a vessel as a form of funeral would be acceptable to the prison ship.”
Aug nodded, considering. “They would likely demand to scan the pod first. They make a point of quite publicly executing or imprisoning those who try to cross them.”
“I suppose you’ll have to not be caught, then.” Sam raised an eyebrow.
“Well, Soren and I are quite skilled at stealth.” The droid commented with what might have been amusement in his tone.
“Are you satisfied, then, Android?”
“Reasonably so. But please, call me Aug Infum or if you really feel you must 000.”
Sam nodded, and offered his hand. “All right, Infum. I expect that this remain between myself, Rosencrutz, and you.”
Aug examined the captain’s hand for a moment before gripping it awkwardly with as little force as he could so as not to crush the human’s hand. “We will not tell any of the other crew. Should they find out we will consult you before eliminating them to preserve our secret. Or at the very least I will, I have never been able to predict Soren.”
Sam nodded, wincing slightly. “You’re dismissed, Infum.”

Farran continued to sit in the shadows of the Understanding's engineering bay. No one had noticed his arrival, and likely no one would notice him until he was needed. He didn't mind. In the end, he just felt the same thing he always felt: boredom.

Mission 001: Slaver vs. Pirates
***************************************************************************************************************
Enemy ship layout:

Entry into ship best done by emergency doors on either side of the ship. Can be taken by Flight Frames or bridge attachment. Once inside the hallways are straight and narrow, leading into a few big rooms. Biggest rooms are the Slave Pens, Repair area, and of course the bridge.
Weapons:
Multiple high caliber Gatling Guns along the side
Hull missiles. Not much good against shields, but a direct hit on an airship can cause massive damage. Can only fire one volley before needing twenty minutes to reload
Front mounted Mega Cannon. Meant for breaking massive battleship formations with a single hit. Can destroy any shield with a single hit. Wide and powerful beam
***************************************************************************************************************
Flight Frames:
Two mass produced Zenium Models
Image Reference:
http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-6OWxNmlILgM/T ... Master.jpgWeapons:
Dual Gatling Gun arms firing armor piercing rounds
Multiple Infernum seeking missiles, coded to not hit Flight Frames or or ship with their signatures.
Attributes:
Fast moving
High durability
******************************************************************************************************************
Soldiers:
15 Slaves equipped with with swords and old world guns
2 Loyal Workers- Equipped with energy blades. Fast moving and strong
Lumin- Massive man covered in highly technologically advanced armor. His strength is unrivaled, and he can take a number of blows before even feeling it. He also has a built in shield generator that stops any energy based attacks. If you break the generator he is much more vulnerable.
Reference image:

Hidden in the ship
40 Slaves
1 Special Target
Old World Ammo
Locked Crate with Underworld 003 symbol on it
Three crates of food
One crate of Medicine
One crate of Cyborg parts
***************************************************************************************************************
Lumin sat at the bridge of his battleship, looking out over the skies in front of his massive ship. "Hm... tell me, how large is our shipment slave 3002?"
A rather weak looking young woman looked up from a clipboard in her hands. "41 sellable slaves Captain Lumin"
"That low?" he asked with a hint of annoyance. "We can still easily hold forty more, knew we should have taken the children at the last one, they might not sell well as working slaves, but get the right blood types and the rest of them sell well enough" he laughed at his own dark humor for a few moments.
"Sir, we have a ship in the vicinity" one of the pilots looked up at him, looking about as weak as everyone else on the ship. "Doesn't look like they have any escorts"
"Fortune smiles on us than" he slammed his fist down on the throne from which he commanded his ship. "Hail them with this message." he waited until the recording was ready. "Stand down and idle your reactor, any attempt to flee will be met with destruction. If you surrender easily I promise this won't be as horrible as it could be" the recording ended and the machine like man laughed. "Release our Flight Frames and start charging the Mega Cannon. We will give them a good scare"
On his command the two Flight Frames housed within the ship dropped out of their hangers, activating their drives and moving too the front of their own battleship, ready for combat.
******************************************************************************************************************
Mission Plan will be given to you by your commander, along with a turn order that goes with that turn order. As the GM I will monitor your actions to make sure nothing to crazy happens, but other than that you have free reign to do what you want. Make it an awesome mission and make sure plenty of crazy stuff happens.

Sam studied the holo, eyes narrowed. Moving to the helm, he stalled the ship, sending everyone to a screeching halt. Hitting a few buttons, he began to send out orders.
"Righto guys, we've got two FF's incoming. Pendragon, Crowe, I want you two to take them out. Get as them as far from us and Polis's ship as possible.
"Advent, hang back for a moment, I have something else for you to do. Infum and Rosencrutz to the launch bay. All of you get on the flight frame, and head over to Polis's ship. Take out their weapons and power gennies. Try to avoid killing, we can use whatever bounty we can get.
"Rask, Cruz, I want to make black smoke billow out, we're gonna play the sitting duck."

"You got it sir." Butch replied excitedly as he quickly entered the Orion with the key in hand, ready to punch it in.
"This should be interesting." Butch commented, thinking of Sam's orders for him as patiently waited for Infum and Rosencrutz to board on.

Soren purses his lips, takes his position in the cockpit. In his right hand is the circular grip of his sheathed crossblade, a marvelous toy he procures from a weapons-maker in Ranram many years ago.
No killing, though. Disarm. Let Aug take care of that; Soren is more likely to break their arms in the attempt. Generators: target.

Farran's hands were a blur as he constructed several tombstone-shaped smoke dispensers, and his mind was moving just as fast. The ship was faking its own death, and he got the honor of helping. His parents would have been proud.

The red-headed pilot smiled calmly, adjusting his spectacles as his new targets appeared on his radar. So he finally had his role, did he? Playing the vanguard was a particularly risky duty, but for an operator and machine of the caliber of Meriwhether and the Yukianesa, it would be of no consequence. Gazing down as the two enemy signatures grew closer, he analyzed what he could about the nature of his adversaries. They were both quick and large, leaving an Inferndium signature that practically screamed across all of his senses as an Invoker. Likely, their method of propulsion was some form of crude rocket or thruster pack - powerful, but difficult to maneuver precisely. Given their size, heavy armor was to be expected, and probably weapons systems of a matching class. They were more like anti-ship bombardment units than dogfighters, which would mean that closing to melee distance, while advantageous, would be difficult, as he'd be exposed to fire from one target whilst battling the other. He'd need to equip a more long-ranged and versatile arsenal to engage his opponents on equal terms.
With a click, the Wing Bit mounts detached themselves from his Flight Frame, folding up into the machine's docking harness while the twin beam Gatling cannons at its waist were raised and fastened to the hardpoints now left available. The shield, meanwhile, folded out, the beam whip sliding into its sheath within the defensive ward. The Beam Lance also detached itself along with the harness, allowing the azure Flight Frame to step free, taking hold of its High Beam Cannon with both hands and stepping towards the door of the docking bay.
"Understood. The Yukianesa is prepared to deploy," He said calmly over the communications channel, before disabling it and turning his attentions elsewhere. Opening a channel to the Frame across the hangar from himself, he spoke calmly across the private line.
"I'm sure you'll explain things to me later, Char," He said, using his personal nickname for his disguised colleague. "So I won't ask about the past. Instead, let's discuss something more relevant. What exactly can that unit of yours do?"

Secured within her frame's body-encasing harness, Lucy raised an eyebrow. Oh, great, he's calling me that again, she thought. Guess I should've expected it once that Sunshine slipped out. Activating her Chariot's private comm channel with a few flicked switches and button presses, she responded, "Well, it's not quite as flashy as anything you're packing, but I like to think it handles significantly better than most of the frames currently in circulation. I've easily flown circles around Zeniums before, although I get the feeling the enemy pilots from that particular encounter probably hadn't even driven a car before, let alone piloted a flight frame." She keyed the motion capture system on, then experimentally raised her right arm, nodding satisfactorily when the Chariot mimicked her. "Not sure if these guys are any better," she continued, "but I figure just my beam sabers and slugthrowers should be enough. Not that I could bring anything else, even if I wanted to- I'd be risking collateral if I did, and the captain would never let me hear the end of it if that happened."

Butch looked behind him as Soren entered the Orion's cockpit. "Alright one down, another to arrive." Butch remarked to himself as he punched the Orion's key in, ready to turn it once the Aug entered the Flight Frame.
As Butch waited on, he looked towards his two fellow flight frames with their pilots inside. Both looking ready to fight it out against the slavers' flight frames in no time.
Butch the started thinking of his strategy "Looks like this mission's about to go violent soon. Still while they're facing off against two flight frames, I have to take on the ship and get Soren and Aug on board. That means having to dodge and destroy gatling guns, missiles and that cannon. Aiming straight for the entrance should be by those emergency doors, but those might take a minute or so to open. Leaving us a sitting duck while they shoot at us. Looks like my best option is to take down all the major weapons first, otherwise there's no chance of entering the ship. I just hope the Orion's rocket boosters give me enough time."

Aug entered into the mech bay fully geared up. Just because he was trying to avoid unnecessary killing didn't mean the assassin both would be unprepared for things to go terribly wrong. He had sent another one of the little snake bots to the Captain so that they could communicate during the battle if it was necessary.
The robot climbed up into the mecha. "Let's get going."

Butch smirked with glee as Aug entered the mech. Quickly making sure everything was in order and having the door closed, Butch excitedly turned the key in the Orion's ignition and talked into the communications channel. "The Orion is up and ready to deploy, give me the signal to move out as soon as possible."
Quickly turning off the channel after his transmission, Butch turned to Aug and Soren and informed them of a few details "Ok there's a few things to keep in mind while in this Flight Frame, don't touch or mess with anything while you're inside here and do not attempt to distract me while I'm piloting. I need all my concentration on this."
Butch took a breath before continuing "Also the rocket boosters that keep the Orion flying have a time limit of 20 minutes before they run out. Please be sure to inform me when we have at least 5 mins left. The time window we have here to take down some of the ship's weapons and get you two inside should be enough. But if not, then I'm gonna need a bit of time to essentially charge up the electricity in my body from my Envoker powers so that way I can power the Orion and the rocket boosters all by myself. This is a big mission and I need to make sure this is all clear."

Aug looked over at Soren in an imitation of askance before turning and responding to Butch. "Pilot, merely get us over there. Doctor Rosencrutz and I are more than capable of making our own way back. And aside from that if all of the crew do their jobs right we will not need extraction."
The android turned back to the vampire and began addressing him in Latin. "I can scarily believe the arrogance of these humans. Regardless, I have told Captain Pennington that I will consult him before eliminating crew members who discover our secret. Will you abide by the same conditions or merely kill those who find out at your leisure, old friend? "

"Cotidie morimur," Soren says obliquely, uses the dead language the android seems to advocate for a coded speech. "If it takes twenty minutes for this Flight Frame to get to the ship, then I deserve to die for trusting such a wretched piece of technology. Why do we speak cum mortuis in lingua mortua? But then omnia mutantur, nihil interit. Do not explain thyself, I know why, ay, and give the devil suck. Such cruel conditions do make one crave sinful release. Homo homini lupus, and though the wolf be lower than the man, and I be higher than both, then how shall I act? Shall I bind myself to it? Vade retro, Satana! Yet, I submit, yea, for Christus nos liberavit. I give my word; I bear myself with good conduct, bene gesserit."
Soren wets his lips, smiles, his hooked incisors exposed.

Butch looked towards the two slightly confused as he replied "I'm just making sure that the conditions here are completely clear. I have complete faith that we will do this mission competently but as with any other mission there's always the chance things can go differently."
Butch quietly grasped the two levers used to control the Orion and took yet another breath before finishing with "All I ask is that we can each trust each other to get this mission done. Once that is complete we can deal with whatever problems we have later. Deal?"
