Option 3 has been chosen: "The wailing wind during the dark night." Writing.
Dolphins are some of the smartest animals, yes, but by human standards… Let's say you should praise the god that forces them to stay handless and underwater.

During the night, the cold wind cries, agonizing. It haunts Alder's sleep, and he has to remind himself he doesn't need to make up monsters lurking outside. But now the sun has already risen, and he has no need to fear the dark. The engineer yells to the person outside that he'll be ready soon, and gets out of bed. After a few minutes, he exits his room to meet one of the twenty guards that actually has any training. Alder asks if there's anything wrong, and the guard tells him he just wanted the engineer's opinion on what he and the other guards should do today, and have it decided before the first commonal meal.

What do they decide?
  1. Scout and go further than usual in search of resources.
  2. Train more people into combat and shockstaff usage.
  3. Patrol the area around the settlement to ensure security.
  4. Other (specify)
