You don't remember where you are, or how you got here. All you remember was falling asleep at some point and finding yourself in this locked room. Your legs are chained to the wall, but some light coming in from under the door reveals a key that you could reach with enough effort.
What should you do?
(Story continues once a suggestion has been made for the characters next move. To discuss next moves place text like this so it won't be used as a command.)

(Awesome idea, I'm so up for this)
I scan the room for any objects close that I could pick up and use to help me reach the key.

The rest of the room is too dark to see anything. The key can be reached by stretching a bit to grab it.

Reach for it.

You reach for the key, straining your body to get it but managing to grab a hold none the less. The key feels rusted and brittle in your fingers, but it should still fit into the key hole and set your legs free.

You decide to use the key to unlock the manacles around your legs. Despite the rust on the key it slides into the first lock and after a few tries you hear the gears turning as it is unlocked. You let out a sigh of relief and rub the aching flesh before turning your attention to the other lock. You slid the key into it and turn it, but are greeted by a horrifying sound. The key snaps inside of the lock, leaving you holding a useless bit of rusted metal and left with a trapped leg.

I constantly shake my leg, hoping to either break the chain or push the piece of the key stuck inside out.

You shake your leg and struggle, hoping against hope that the chain is as rusty as the key. After what feels like hours you hear a satisfying noise as the chain snaps from the wall. The chain moves against the ground as you do, its too short to hold and it makes noise as you walk. You are now free of the wall chains. The room is still dark, but the light from under the door shines through and shows you a chance of escape.
What will you do?

I carefully and slowly approach the door. Upon reaching the door, I slowly open it.

You slowly push open the door, letting more light into the room. Upon fully opening it you are greeted by the sight of a man with a gun, who upon turning around sees the door now opened fully and walked over, shouting something in a language you don't understand and pointing his weapon at you

Kick him in the head with the foot that still has the metal shackle.

You decide that violence is obviously the best answer in this situation. You go to kick him, but your body is to weak to make you move with any sort of proper impact. The guard sees your move of aggression and hastily pulls the trigger. You fall over and blood pours out from the wound. Darkness overtakes you, and your last memory is of the cold floor and the warm feeling of your wound.
You wake up in a dark room with light pouring out from under the crack of a door. You have no memory of how you got there or who you are. Wrapped around one of your legs is a metal shackle with some chain coming off of it.
What will you do?

I wait for the man to approach me as I hold on tight to the door, hoping to slam the door into him and steal his weapon.

You pull on the door but it seems stuck open, unable to be moved. The man get closer and yells something at you in his odd language. You reached forward to try and steal away his weapon but he reacts faster, stepping back and firing a warning shot next to your head.

Stay still as possible, then say you don't understand him.

You hold your body still and try to calmly explain that you can't understand the man, through your throat is dry so most of your words come out as rasps.
The man seems rather annoyed but lowers his gun. He reached toward his belt and pulls out a small canteen filled with some form of liquid, maybe water. He offers it to you with a grunt.

You take the canteen and slowly drink from it. Its all you can do to choke down the liquid. Its bitter and has the taste of dust to it. All the same you feel your throat is no longer as bad as it was before. You can now speak.

You try and speak slowly, using hand movements to show that you don't understand him. The man grunts and shakes his head, pointing down the hall and then at you. He turns and walks in the other direction, going back on his back and forth pattern.

Walk down the hall, in the direction he pointed.
