Name: Alister Dalton Black
Age: 21
Country of Origin: American (Despite the name. Blame Mimsy. He insisted.)
Specialty: Psychic
Favorite weapon: Has basic proficiency with a knife and firearms, but if it comes to him needing a weapon, he might as well have already been killed. Has slightly more proficiency with hand-to-hand combat, but only to the point of being able to use Aikido (because I myself use it and know it well enough) for basic self-defense. Has very little physical strength.
Special Abilities: Minor Telekinesis (Would it be possible to have something more... sciency than normal telekinesis? Like... magnetic field focused telekinesis? Is that a higher level skill? I want to milk my field of study for all it's worth.)
Field of Study: Science
Short Bio: An anti-social student at a technical university in America, Alister never got along with others well. Most of the time, he liked to avoid the bother by moving about at times when no one else was around. That was the reason he was awake and in the school library around one AM, just in time to be assaulted by a freak after him because of his abnormal psychic powers, of which he was completely unaware. Through a combination of luck and adrenaline fueled panic, he managed to survive until the thing cornered him in the laboratory where he worked. Activated by his instinct and dire situation, his psychic powers manifested and pelted the freak with random lab equipment and chased it away. However, for the next two months, his footsteps were followed by the freak, seeking revenge. It was abnormally stealthy and evaded the Black Knight's notice for some time, time during which he was on his own. His anti-social tendencies grew into rampant paranoia, which, combined with his clever use of the material and terrain around him for traps is likely the only reason he survived so many encounters with the thing. However, the freak, growing better and better at predicting his defenses, finally caught him off guard and nearly killed him, but he was saved by the Black Knights, who had noticed the disturbance caused by their frequent clashes. It is unknown if the freak survived, as it fled, seemingly mortally wounded.
After that, he was brought into the organization, who gave him basic training with his abilities during the last break in school. He doesn't really trust them either, but they saved his life and gave him information on his abilities, which he has relentlessly studied ever since.
Normal people are the easiest to manipulate. Too smart and they have an annoying tendency to catch wind of your plans, too dumb and, in the words of a certain pirate, "You can never tell when they are about to do something incredibly...stupid."
