Yes, guys, I am STILL writing. I promise that this won't happen every time. In fact, I expect most of these posts to be much smaller than this one, but I'm trying to set up Alister's character here. This is the perfect time for that, since I don't have to worry about what you guys do for now. After this it should shorten and even out.

So yea, this whole thing is one big Establishing Character Moment. Alister's character summed up in a sentence could be "Expect everyone you have ever heard of is trying to double-cross/scam/kill you and act appropriately." So... much paranoid antics ensue.

Good grief, my character's paranoia and Crazy Preparedness is going way beyond what even I thought was possible.

However, I'm almost done, and I still haven't broken 3k words. It'll probably be about 3.2k or so,so give me about fifteen minutes to finish and edit a bit.
