TBH, I was planning on including the whole trip, getting on the plane, and the directions he received afterward, but everyone was complaining about my posts being too long, so I decided to cut it short.

Well, my posts will likely stay in the thousands of words, but I don't think they will get too much bigger than this one. Like I said, I'm pretty sure that's the top end. Sorry, if you guys don't like it, but I'm not gonna cut out character and everything that makes this interesting just to please a few people.

Ok, let me say I ALMOST skipped mimsy's post. Then I read the damn thing and loved it. -_-
I will make my writing better next time. *sigh*
and just PM me if you want to do anything with my character.

See what I said last night about Mimsy's post? ^^

He writes a lot, but it's worth the read. If you're too tired, don't have the time or whatever, you can just skim it and read for real on a later date, no problem if the post is gigantic, right?

Well, it set the stage and let me know more about his character. I was only complaining about people trying to get a word count, not a storyline..
If everyone writes this well ALL the time, I'd read it if it was a novel!

Thanks a bunch for the compliment. ^_^ I try to do the best I can to make it as awesome as possible.

You know, I've never played in a forum-based RP with strict turn order and a GM and stuff. All the RPs I've ever joined have been way more free-form.

I kinda like it. It's slower-paced so I have time to start planning stuff and can focus on writing decently instead of going "HOSHIT HERE'S A RESPONSE TO MY POST BETTER WRITE SOMETHING QUICK BEFORE THIS THREAD GETS FLOODED".

Also, you guys are all super-kickass. I can't wait to see how Rivka is going to react to some of y'all's characters.

Yes I really appreciate the slower pace of this one. Gives us time to write something actually GOOD rather than having to hurry something off in five minutes and hope for the best. Nobody's at their ebst in a five minute time limit.

On another note, I've tried recording pretty much all of this at this point... just a rough version, aaand I kept stumbling on words I don't know... I'll have to try again later.

These spam posts where bad enough on their threads... Now they posted in the RP thread! THIS IS HERESY!

On a more relevant topic, I know all too well the fact that Aiden, as a semi-non-paranoid badass, is totally freakin' doomed in this genre. At the worst, he might end up as The World's Expert on Getting Killed, and at best, he'll probably end up as someone's Lancer and still probably die in the process. But, to that end, I've planned ahead and selected a fitting way for him to go out should the absolute need ever arise, and even a BGM to go along with it. (Sort of) Fittingly, it's epic, dramatic chanting in Latin about the ephemeral nature of Human life and also summarizing Aiden's Determinator, fearless, complete the objective at all costs mentality. So, yeah, if I ever need to pull a last stand, I'm already prepared. =P Does that make me genre savvy, or just plain paranoid?

I'm confused as well...

Maybe she meant Xana. I think she was talking about the post order listing in the start up post. Mimsy should probably replaced Never in the order now.
