OK, so the combined OCD rage of the Rabbit and Lawrence combined to overwhelm his human mind for a bit and he lost it. He will probably be getting better at not snapping like that, but who knows?

Since I wasn't really able to get to into it in the post, the reason for Lawrence's seeming Charles Atlas Superpowers is pretty simple. Because of his ability to observe and catalog absurd amounts of information every second, he can develop the ability to analyze all the component movements of a move and if possible physically, reproduce it himself, hence the flipping. Similarly, he can analyze people's fighting style mid combat and observe how they are going to move. Usually he will be much more... not berserk about it, but this time he was kinda out of his mind, so he only used this ability to dodge/defend from single attacks. Normally he would be more analytical. In this case, his victory was part intimidation factor, part ridiculous observation skills taking in the whole battlefield environment and abusing that as much as possible, and part berserk rage induced strength and ferocity, rather than his more usual analytical fighting style.

My blood is so pumping from this. The Doomsday brothers strike again with their awesome writing and graphics. Unfortunately I can't dwell too much tonight since I've got an assignment due tomorrow morning, but once classes are done, Qara, I'll seek you out in chat and we'll see what we come up with.

Anyone who posts before we get to it, please make sure there are two clubs left for me and Isla to fight. (Depending on what we do, one of those can survive to get killed off by someone else, but we/I will need two for at least part of the fight.)

I can't tell how many you guys murdered. Which ones are still alive?

As far as I can tell, there WERE six (five clubs and one heart). Sicon killed the one heart, Mimsy got two of the clubs, and Shane got another one.

So there's two clubs left, which means if you kill one, please make it possible for your post to be time-shifted to after mine (i.e., your club shows up a little worse for the wear like he's running away by the time he gets to you). (Or you can fight-but-not-kill them)

Just for the record, as I discussed with Agora, his post takes place after mine (which, yes, is not there yet)-- the guy he took down was running away from his fight with Daniel and Lorelei. The other guy we were fighting stayed with us to play.

For the record, the blinding effect wasn't a full summon. That would have blinded me as well as everyone. The blinding effect was a single-target blind which would be easily shrugged off by anyone with willpower (it is automatically assumed that regular mooks are cowards ^_^ Besides, Qara broke his back, metaphorically. Maybe literally too) and doesn't last very long. Just to clarify.

...Nothing to see here, just a regular nearly-seven-foot-tall teenage kid laughing like a psychopath while he beats one guy up with the guy's friend, ho hum...

(Note: the fight's not over yet. Isla and I are doing a collab, obviously. Consider this Part I.)

In other news, I've been thinking a bit about what I want Lori to look like. I'm thinking shoulder-length strawberry blonde hair styled in a way that covers one eye at all times. Is that easy to imagine? Dunno about eye color, though.

I dunno about that, since people would definitely notice if her eyes changed color all the time, but I was thinking of her hair gradually turning redder the more time she spends in her murderous mindset. I might have her ears, tail, and fur turn blood-red when she's in transfer state too, but that's just a thought.

I think I'll make her eyes lavender, and they turn a glowing violet-purple when she uses Chess' power. Red hair and violet eyes - she'll really look unnatural then.

So she's Alanna then?

Tamora Pierce's first MC. Alanna the Lioness of Trebond, Olau, and Pirate's Swoop, King's Champion and Lady Knight of the Realm of Tortall. ...That's a long title, so we can just call her Alanna. (She's the MC of the Song of the Lioness series, and makes cameos throughout the rest of the Tortall books.) They're good books. I think you'd enjoy them, Isla. Alanna's main three physical characteristics are that she has red hair, violet eyes, and she's short, traits she shares with Lori. That's why I thought of her.

I'm not sure how necessary a fully-detailed physical description of each individual character is, but yours looks good, Qara.

Well poor Calarine is by far having the most logical reaction to everything that's going on. In other words she is freaking the living hell out.

Y...eeea.....hhh........ Logical isn't what I was thinking, just, well, 'possessed' would be a better word choice.

I'm just trying to imagine how Calarine and Lori will actually interact, knowing how differently the two Cats treat them...
