So i uhhh.....applied, just three more questions:
1)Are we automatically accepted ? Because i see none of the GM's post their acceptance of the CS in the thread. So is my own post okay, or should i change anything
2) Can i claim my presence the quests i see open ? Or should i just wait for the GM's to assign me on one ? What about open quests , like the Special event ?
3) I checked a bit the RP page, and i found it.....overwhelming XD. I honestly have no idea how will i manage to write such huge walls of text. I mean, i'm still a stdent, there is a certain tightness in my scheudle. Is it okay if i start out smaller untill i get the hang of it ?

Yes, you are accepted. I looked at your sheet and it's perfect.

Yes, you can post in any open threads whenever you like. Right now, those are Side Stories, Special Event 4, and the Underground Floors threads. Normally we try to have rounds of quests roughly every week, or as they are completed (sometimes people have emergencies or finals or just outstanding circumstances that require a delay). It's November though, and that means basically everyone here is also participating in NaNoWriMo. Because of that, we're just sort of relaxing until the end of the month, so everyone can complete their NaNo's on time.

Big major note here: Side Stories and the Special Events are extra easy things with no time limit. The Underground Floors have a rather short time limit of 24-48 hours, and you need to request to enter.

As for the walls of text, don't worry about it. :) Every writer is different. each quest is up to you and your partner to decide length and content. The only thing the GM does is assign the quest (like, go kill a bear). A lot of players have decided that we assign quests that are too simple for them, and do extra things beyond the minimum requirements of the quest.

Just to elaborate a little on what eli said:

The sidestory thread is not really a quest thread. You can post there at any time, alone or in a collab, and you can do anything there-- basically, it's what your character is up to when not on an assigned quest.

The Special Event 4 thread is a special case, an "open quest". The first post in that thread assigns a quest that anyone and everyone can take up, alone or in collab, and as many times as they like. You can post there at any time this month, provided your post follows the rules set out in the thread's first post.

(Note: Not all Special Event threads will be like this. Special Events 2 and 3, which are now no longer relevant, worked like sidestories, but focused on reactions to specific events).

The Underground thread is a by-request quest arena-- if you want to post there, you would contact one of the GMs, either by PM or in this thread, asking for an Underground quest, alone or with a partner, and your quest prompt will appear once we've written it, in that thread. You will have a time limit to complete that quest, which begins when the quest prompt goes up. You can request an Underground quest at any time that you don't have a main-thread quest.

In the main quest thread, GMs will regularly post a "round" of quests, with specific quests assigned to specific people. Each quest is assigned to two players, who must write the quest fulfilment together. Your fulfilment can be as long or as short as is convenient for the pair of you, provided it all fits and goes up in ONE forum post.
Lead by example. Get lost in a swamp.

Okay, Thanks a lot for your help, they have made this RP much simpler to me :)
Just on last question: Do you know any software or something that would allow two people write on the same thing without the need of sending things via PM's ?

Right, I'd like a headcount of everyone who'd like to do a quest now, is not doing nano, or who is insane. :) If there's enough, I might be able to find something. :D

Well, I'll be having exams this week, but in case this round's over before that, and another one goes on November I'll be free to go starting on... November 18th, I think?

Yes. Yes. And Yes. Though I am writing up this thing that I originally intended for Special Event 4, but since I can't figure out how to make a rat king not disturbing, I'm not sure where it'll end up being put.

Ahahahah, that's one of the things that just freak me out thinking about it.

Really, this snippet is going to ridiculously interesting places.

I'm insane, but not nanoing at the moment either. If Kurt is called out to work, then I might just be able to make time for this amongst all of my homework.

Well, it was fun writing different characters :P That said, Qara, next time I'm available (and not so blatantly procastinating), I'll probably need to ask for your help with something related to those characters :p ).

As for the quest, I'll decline this time, though I wish I could go on a quest xD. Oh well...
Why should we do the right thing?
-Well... because it's the right thing to do, there's no other good reason.

Oh sweet, Coat of Many Maladies is finally making an appearance!

...wait, you're putting Curtiss in a quest with an NPC? What do I do about him travelling with Likovya, then? Or is this particular quest gonna be set in the past or something?

The outbox shows that the PMs are ready to be sent, but they haven't been read yet. Once, say, eli comes on and reads your message, it'll go to the sent box.

Post done, and Kurt's character sheet has been updated to reflect his new status, powers, and equipment or lack thereof.
