I just realized we now have an excuse to bring in a whole bunch of different races into the city- which means we'll finally be able to get that dragon-run bar we talked about back in February! Woohoo! :D

(for the record, I'm still planning on introducing a dragon-versus-mecha battle in the skies as soon as I possibly can :P)

If he's still with the Sky Chasers (and I assume he is, unless he decided to just strike off on his own already), they're working their way out of the mountains of the fourth floor. As to where they go next... hell if I know.

Technically they don't need to be small - you could totally do it with full-sized ones. And you cannot think that's as horrifying as a Rat King.

On less terrifying news, I suppose I should announce that I have stepped away from GMing FC. You might have noticed I've grown increasingly distant from the game for... Well, quite a while now... The official handing in of the Space Rocks happened a few days ago... I was just unsure whether to announce it and how to... But in the end I don't think there's any way other than flat out saying it.

Perhaps I'll be back, perhaps not. I don't know that myself, but for the moment, Pixel out.

I'll still be around in the forums, I suppose, so I'm not gone for good, just less active.

So, the holidays are coming over, and I was thinking if it'd be nice to have an event, even if noncanon, for our characters to gather and drink... Hot beverages together, or however you celebrate the holidays up there during the winter. I know it might bother someone who doesn't celebrate Christmas, so I'd hate to be insensitive about it >____< I thought that, with the third or fourth time Floor One is (nearly) destroyed, it'd be nice to give the characters a break (even if noncanon) to celebrate together. It doesn't need to have Christmas thrown in it (even with the Church being there as a good excuse for it ), it can just be a random snowstorm hitting Floor One and forcing our characters to take cover. All in the same house. Which is misteriously empty of people and with a lifelong stock of hot beverages. And turkey.

Okay, this was just a random example, which could happen in a noncanon thread (I wouldn't assumed Floor One could be hit by a snowstorm so randomly, though now that the world has fallen all around the climate could suffer somewhat; Even if Floor One could naturally have those, unless the GMs threw it in I don't think it'd be valid to assume so, although the same could be argued for assuming snowstorms can't happen). What do you guys think?

That sounds like it could be fun.

Seasons in the Castle probably don't work like they would on the surface world, but we could have it be the time on the calendar that corresponds to some sort of winter festival down below. Those sorts of things are pretty common in most cultures, regardless of religious beliefs, and our various characters might all have their own traditions or cultural association with the time of year.
