I wouldn't know. I feel giggly about an incredibly minute amount of things. (I am excited, though.)

But it'll be fun to see how this turns out.

So. Floor guardians. Did the bosses count, or are there completely different enemies for the early floors that serve as guardians?
So, apparently I'm the sanest madman this side of the international date line. Seems legit.

The early boss fights (i.e., one, two, and three) did not involve Guardians.

So, since it's probably easier than to just message everyone, I'd assume since Morionem is part of Severed Storm he'd help in the healing of Anji, Kevin, Marcus or whomever is at the guildhall (even if he doesn't know much). Anyone up for writing?

A heads-up:

As part of the forum move I'll be doing in an hour, I'm going to be making eli and Qara moderators of this subforum, so they'll be able to split threads, delete posts/threads, and all the other good stuff that comes with being a moderator. :)

Sadly, I doubt I'm any good at RPing. :( Which is possibly why I felt more comfortable taking a back-seat role in the ARG, thinking about it.

I *have* considered taking part, though, and when I get more time I may think about it a bit more. I think I'd really need a mentor, though.

I'm sure any one of us would be more than happy to help you out! A lot of us were pretty new to RP as well when this whole thing started, and the atmosphere is pretty relaxed.

Yah, don't worry about it. We're all pretty supportive, and you can take it at your own pace.

I, too, would be interested in seeing a beginner's guide of sorts. Honestly, the main reason I haven't joined is because I prefer to be in big projects from the start. That and I'm a little nervous about the prospect of collaborative writing.

Okay then: what scares you the most? What worries you about joining the RP? What doubts do you have about how stuff works and what you can do and cannot?

Qara and I will try to assemble one (though I don't know how it would work or what would be in it yet but that's what R&D is for)((If we had an R&D)))

Anyway, Qara and I would love to help any/all of you assimilate as best you can so until then just PM us with any questions you have. :)

A beginners guide to the FC RP, as told by a drunk Hector.
If you ever need to ask the questions "Am I needed? Should I help them?" The answer is always yes. Always.

Nothing like learning by doing. Just join first and think later. :P *a wild Pixel appears*

I know I've been out since I stepped down from GMing, but if you'd like to try out writing something FC-Like collaboratively without it being straight away inside the game, I'm up for it anytime. :)

Just for the record, all the links in the FC subforum should be fixed/working now.

Also, yes, eli and I will be putting some stuff together over the next little while. Until that's up, we are more than happy to explain things in a user-friendly, non-overwhelming way if approached.

I think one of my issues is that I see posts like this one and pretty much every post after that, and... well, I just cannot write that much. Are you expected to write all of that? Is it a collaborative thing done over PM and then the end result posted in the forums? I don't know any of this. If it's a thing done over PM, how much are you expected to write for each pass? Etc, etc.

I'm a newbie when it comes to this stuff.

This stuff CAN be written through PMs. Most of us, lately, have found that using a shared Google Doc is easier.

And there's no need to make the post long; much shorter posts are accepted as long as they fulfill the requirements of the quests. Just because other people are writing super long posts doesn't mean everyone HAS TO.

Also, if you're nervous about the writing aspect, there's no actual need for you to do much direct writing. One way to collaborate on these quests is to discuss how the post is going to fit together, and then have one person write it out and run it by the other person before posting.

The format of FC is open to a variety of approaches.
