Update on the Boss Quest. Riffe is tagged as a drop, Eli's stepping in to complete it with Adell so we can move on.

As for the motives behind these decisions, I'd rather leave those to discuss with Riffe and Adell. We're getting the game to move again, that's all.

As a note, the Kobolds are apparently tinier than we thought, about 2-3 feet (~2/3-1 meter)

Adell and I made them about 1 meter tall just because it seemed even more ridiculously adorable to have them be any tinier.

As for the state of the fight. 8 regular fighters made it past the tree and are now wreaking havoc on the city.
4 of the regular fighters are incapacitated/dead/unable to move. The mage gave himself a good shocking, but I'm not sure how that will affect future fights.

And Hector and Anji both survived. *mandatory cheer*

Hector has multiple cuts and probably some burns (correct me if I'm wrong, mod) while Anji is covered in burns and she got electrocuted, so I dunno how that will work out.

Luckily for Anji, her sister has healing magic, perhaps that'll help her out? :)

It's a really nice part, way to go guys. I can't help but feel Tamar and Eliziya are getting it easy right now...

I'm telling you, next week Kobold skin cloaks and armour will be all the rage in the city.

And the thing is, if, as Adell mentioned in Chat, he keeps calling all these monsters by the wrong names, aside from being hilarious, may also mean that when he actually says their name CORRECTLY it's probably going to be a sign that they're all in really, really deep water.

There's a trope for that: I'm not sure if it's this http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/M ... tBeSerious or this http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/M ... usBusiness but it'sTHERE.

So, this is how it goes on the new thread. It's entirely optional, and can be written by anyone and any group at any time. Just make sure to check with Eli or me before you go in and write.

But as a rule, nothing that happens "in the present" relating to the current quest can be written, so... Say I want to write what Fade was up to during the boss fight. No, that will have to wait until the next quests are announced.

Also, no rewards. There's no game-reason to do posts in the new thread, it is strictly a just for fun way to flesh out the world and the characters. If for some reason you learn how to do the Spirit Bomb in there, you'll be given GM Guided Amnesia to make sure it doesn't stick. So don't make power/item collecting posts because they won't transfer to your character sheet.

You'll either have to fail it in post somehow, or I will be the most boring GM in saying "Space Rocks say you lost/forgot it on your way back. Or it popped out of existence because I said so." Default. I'm leaving this here now because I will drop that sentence if you try to use that thread for the loot. Sorry for sounding like a buzzkill now when it just went up, but I'd rather leave a warning now than to have a discussion about this later on.

This should be fun! I particularly like the idea of maybe interacting with people more often than just on quests.

If anyone wants shenanigans, Kurt is rather good at getting involved in those, so just say the word and we can write something up.

Hmm. Might be a good place to detail Seire's backstory along with Kurt and Giselle.

Woohoo, the loot is here!

Also, idea for a post in the new thread, based off a throwaway line of Guyshane's in the chatroom: Marcus keeps droning on and on about how he heroically slaughtered a herd of cows. Other PCs at the bar get annoyed. Things escalate. *evil grin*

So with regards to the sidestories thread, anyone wanna come laugh at Tamar making an idiot of hismelf by trying to look like a real swordsman on subpar training? :P

Ben will totally take him under her wing.
Provided he doesn't put his foot too far in his mouth with her first. Then she'll just be slightly cruel, but in a funny way.

I feel like Pan might laugh, though she doesn't know swordsmanship herself... *ponders*

By the way, Giselle is very pleased with her automatic map maker. She wishes it had a wider radius, but it's already bloody useful so she's not complaining.

Ok... This has stood without any update for far too long. I'm calling the 1 week rule running from now.
Yes, I realize it can be considered a lot of time, especially because we've been stalled for longer than that.

Vic and Sicon. I called a drop from Jack for less delay than this, so let me know if you'll make it or not, otherwise I'll reassign the quest to another pair, that will get this running, on Monday. I'm not setting the time limit for the post to go up in Monday, I just want an update to know if you're working on it or not by then.

Time limit for the post is next Saturday night.
Sorry for the sudden ultimatum, but unfortunately, as a GM I can't just sit here and wait while a lot of other players are waiting to play.
