The expression on your face is more like "What the hell just happened who IS this guy, and where in the world did he come from?"

Less scared and more just "Whhhaaaaaaaat? Where did all of this come from all of a sudden?"

Yeah, I supposed so. But that was just me talking, :P because I didn't picture his facial expression like that. But if that was the fighting scene  I was using a barrel cover modified to be a shield. Not that I mind though, just pointing it out. And I suppose that's going to be the canon design of my shield then. I like it (I was going to say it looked like this anyways :P ), though I think Morionem would prefer a "more throwable" design (as a circle)

eli_gone_crazy wrote:Right, so. Side Quests and the difficulties of organizing them (this has nothing to do with OCD... hehe... who told you that? :? )

Anyway, there is an aftermath side quest that's been brewing for at least two weeks, detailing the events immediately after the Boss Battle on Floor 1. Seeing as how at least 6 people will be involved. It's come to my attention that GM attention may be needed to help organize it.

My hesitancy in this is basically railroading something you won't get rewarded for. I'll be partially dictating what you are doing (as far as setting goes), and I just feel a little uncomfortable doing that.

So, I'm calling for a vote. I'd only GM post on global quests, and you'd be free to write your own pieces at will, just like it is now. I'd just have a little more control of the thread, and help guide everyone through world-quests like Aftermath.

Uhh... Sorry, what are we voting for? >_< :?

Some degree GM direction in big huge massive collaboration sidestories, like the aftermath that has at least 6 people for it.

I'm fine with it.
Why should we do the right thing?

Eh, the behemoth kinda went out like a punk compared to what I was expecting, but still, when I was reading those last few paragraphs, I couldn't help but imagine this sequence of events: "Your mom's a gecko!" "SHUT UP SHE WAS NOT" "Ahaha screw youuuuuu~" "GET BACK HERE YOU JERK" "Fly, Binky, flyyyyyyyy!" "OH NO YOU DON'T RAAAAAGLAVLNDSALV"
So, apparently I'm the sanest madman this side of the international date line. Seems legit.

Yeah, the "Your mother was a gecko" line was hilarious. I can just imagine this moment of total silence before that line is delivered in perfect deadpan.

In other news, we had this conversation in the chat in relation to the post:

I should probably have pointed out that no one knows who Kurt is or that he discovered the underground. He reported back to the church on the matter and they released warnings not to go down there, but never told people how they got the information.

Guyshane

...Well you could have mentioned that before now

Sicon112

For various character plot reasons, he is posing as a normal priest.

Sicon112

Yeah, that's what I said. It's my fault.

Guyshane

Whatever we'll say Marcus heard it as a rumor

Guyshane

Retcons can be useful when they aren't used to eliminate marriages

Sicon112

OK then. I'll say the church released reports said there were vampires.

Sicon112

That way, the rumor makes sense

Sicon112

The church said nothing about how they knew, so someone guessed there was a guy who had a showdown with a vampire.

Sicon112

Because that makes sense.

Sicon112

Given the information.

Sicon112

As long as it isn't connected to Kurt, there aren't any problems anyhow.

Guyshane

Yes and already this retcon is thought out better than One More Day

Of course, Pan knows about none of this since she's been living in the forest for the past few days.

Ok, this wraps ups all the posts in this turn. So, the next quests will go up once we manage to wrap up rewards and write the next batch, that shouldn't take too long. So, new quests soon. :)

It probably makes more sense that Marcus heard about this stuff from Giselle and Curtiss's report more than anything.

Also, added links to the other threads in the floating castle the in the original post, for those having trouble finding them :3

Funny you should ask, I'm trying to get the first half of Dilly and Mimsy's part recorded. We're hoping to have it put together in a coule of days, with any luck withthe help of Mimsy and Dilly reading their dialogue lines (we're still doing that, right guys?)

Oh, before I start recording, I should probably confirm: Mimsy, I've been pronouncing Seire in my head like "sear." Is that reasonably accurate?

It's more similar to the first, but not exactly like either. Actually, his name is pronounced "Sey-er." The "Sei" is pronounced like it would be in Japanese, in other words.

Although actually, Narradilly was pretty much correct, since I based Seire's first name on an alternate spelling of Seere, a patron demon of thievery from the Ars Goetia. In that, it's pronounced like "sear."
