Wrong on the first assumption. Right on the second one.

There are people who are not explorers / fighters / adventurers and just got roped into going. They still work around as bakers, brewers, construction workers... Pretty much all the required jobs to maintain things running. Some may have joined guilds, or gone exploring. But yeah, vanilla non-adventurers exist.

As for the second, there was the City Guard, which was essentially organizing all of the things. But spread too thin. Adam wanted to start working on a better system, but Luca took the chance with the "government" being essentially non-existent to incite chaos. It's not overthrowing a system that was there, this is more like stirring something that wasn't even properly established.

Hm... Wonder how the mob would end up reacting to actual solo adventurers or whatever, then.
So, apparently I'm the sanest madman this side of the international date line. Seems legit.

Like Morionem too for example.

I do not believe the mob care anything for solo adventurers. As far as I can see, it's all directed at the guilds. Regardless, I'm fine, since A: I'm part of the Church and the mob is leaving that well enough alone, and B: No one outside of the cathedral except Hector and Ben knows that I am an adventurer anyhow. Morionem didn't get a good look at my face, and no one else I've interacted with has seen my combat abilities.

And... Darren got tricked :|

Well damn, I hope he doesn't find out
Why should we do the right thing?
-Well... because it's the right thing to do, there's no other good reason.

Am I a bad guy trying to be good, or a good guy trying to convince himself that he's not the bad guy?

Turns out I forgot that there are orphans that live in the school along with a guild member or two that act as people who run it. And that place also has an evil fire wizard going to burn it down for the lol's.

Well, this is weird, it seems that everyone's life stories are finally coming to light in the Storm and Drive department. And can I just say 'it's about time'? :P

Morionem didn't join SaD yet officially, but I did start writing a backstory for him. But my exams came by and I didn't finish it yet, I'll probably go back to it after Thursday only :(

I look forwards to it :P

I was hoping to avoid going too deeply into the details of mine, but it strikes me that it's unfair of Tamar to hide some of the stuff he's hiding while demanding honesty from others. So it's going to happen, at some point. Let's try and balance out the angst though because I have some seriously AWKWARD writing to do soon. :?

Also, off topic guys, but would it be possible for people to start giving all of their side stories and event stories names or something? No particularly good reason, it just makes it look nicer when I list peoples appearances in the character NPC list :P Anyone I've missed in the most recent update?

Well, Scarab, I'm kinda already doing that, considering Seire/Giselle's backstory arc is already labeled as Phantom Thieves' State of the World, and each flashback in the arc is going to have its own subtitle, like Seire's childhood being labeled What These Hands Can Reach.

See, guys? SOMEBODY makes my job more interesting :P

Anyyay I wanted to share this because it's what I was listening to for a lot of the writing we all did yesterday. You guys are awesome, by the way: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bq27qg4Ot2M

Actually just realized there needs to be a small edit to Tenzami's Allies part. Kreiger is the lightening mage who died before the story began. Moramius, Mocamius, and Jack are his living allies.

*sighs* man I hate asking this. So I am going to be visiting family I see maybe one to twice a year. They may or may not have internet. I may be out of contact until Saturday or Sunday. I am asking for one more week. Eli has said it would be fine by her (with restrictions) but I don't feel right holding you all up. If you want to move on then I understand and will give my position to someone else.

I'm okay with it, this just means more time for me to catch up and stuff.

Yeah, I wouldn't be able to do the quest without another week either. Eli can either drop the quest for us, send another group, give us another week, or just move the quest to next turn, cause it won't be done by next Sunday. I'd still like to do it, but if the GMs/the other players want to do something different, that is your call.

Guys, Pixel is going to be a way a few days which means Eli is doing most of this on her own so really I don't think there's going to be MUCH problem with you guys having a little more time, so long as we don't start running into that 'month long wait between updates' thing we have occasionally encountered in the past. Seriously, don't stress about it :3

I'm giving Xana and SIcon an extra week to submit, on the condition that they write in an in-game reason for the delay. Both Xana and Sicon have agreed to this condition, and their post is now reset for June 17, 2013 at 23:59. Everyone else who was given a mission this week will still need to submit by the 10th though, please.

As for the upcoming week, it will proceed as normal, the only difference being that I'll be trying to run the show alone if Pixel's not back.

I would like it on record that writing with Jack is incredibly fun :3 (also, we pushed the word limit without even TRYING to push the word limit.)
