Okay, so this is tough. But let's think positive, guys.

I know some people think the Floating Castle is purposeless, and you probably also know that I have never believed that for a moment and frankly, neither does Tamar. It's there for a reason. Everyone IN the castle is there for a reason, whether they realise it yet or not.

Find a picture. Hold it in your head. Think of where these people are going to end up. You may not know exactly how your own story is going to end here, but you don't have to. All you need is a flaw, something to fight against, and something to fight for.

Flaws... yes.. Eliziya has much in the way of flaws..

I don't think Agora is LEAVING the series, he's just withdrawing slightly while he's ast school. Fc doesn't HAVE places to fill, Krika, you can just JOIN IN :P

Not the point! It was dramatically appropriate! How could I resist such a blatant....invitation, I guess?

So a few of you already know this but I've started writing a bad future AU.

I would say for the lulz but the AU is much to depressing to be for the lulz
I say we nuke it from orbit...its the only way to be sure.

You couldn't :) You're human. Looking forward to your inclusion.

One of the higher floors HAS to be a bad future floor anwyays, so this would be cool.

Why should we do the right thing?
-Well... because it's the right thing to do, there's no other good reason.

Am I a bad guy trying to be good, or a good guy trying to convince himself that he's not the bad guy?

Okay, so, Tamar probably can't sing worth a damn, so this is more the spirit of his thoughts than anything. (head canon is he can play a decent piano or FC world equivalent, though.)

I figured FC was missing out on some music.

:D

I was never right for the hero type of role
I admit it
A whole world shivering in fear
I can see their rage reflected in each bright tear

Even so
I still believe that the future’s waiting
Though you cannot hide
All the emptiness inside
We’ll carry on

All of those dreams
in which we soared
No matter how I'm knocked around
Or beaten down
I will stand up, restored

All of the floors
we’ve yet to face
I know your strength is what I lack
You've got my back
And know that I've got yours

I have you to thank
For lighting up the dark

Because you're here with me
I know that we still have that chance
(I wanna turn this world around
I give you everything I can)

I could never find light to guide me through the night
Then with one day
I'd recall every memory
Like an Echo bound intrinsically to me

It's tempting to close your eyes
And hide from the world
But you’re not alone
Know the future has a home
in place for you

When every war has overlapped
I realized if we carry on
With every dawn
My hesitation fades

All of these scars will fade in time
I will become your sword and shield
The fire we wield
the path that we select
The promise we made will last for all our days
If it's our bonds we'll live by
I will put my
Faith in you

I should point out these lyrics are filked from the English verison of Crossing swords, so some of them aren't mine :P

Latest GM update moved temporarily to here so that Dilly can post her quest in normal chronological order. :) It'll move back to the main thread tomorrow, but better to leave it somewhere visible until then.

Nursing the idea of doing an underground mission in the near future, preferably as a collab (although I'm interested in solo stuff as well).

I would just like it to be noted, by the way, that Kurt's first reaction to sealing an evil in a can was to call in some guys and have it destroyed while it was harmless. Yeah, he isn't exactly good with following tradition like that. XD
Normal people are the easiest to manipulate. Too smart and they have an annoying tendency to catch wind of your plans, too dumb and, in the words of a certain pirate, "You can never tell when they are about to do something incredibly...stupid."

I'm more concerned with the fact that Giselle felt the need to leave a message saying "DO NOT MOUNT HUGE RESCUE" in the event that she didn't show up in 24 hours, for Seire, because otherwise he'd DO it. That's... kind of sweet, actually.

It probably also doubles as some sort of Noodle Incident :P

Ooh, something else to add to the tropes list! (Well we already have a Noodle Incident, but what's a couple more between players?)

Nice work, Shane and Russ, that all worked out surprisingly well.

*Suspects everyone will realise she is deliberately not commenting on the one before it.*

When I can come up with a response to it that doesn't involve violent SOBBING, I'll let you know, Pix and Eli >.> Would anyone believe me if I said it's going to get worse?

I figure we need a consolidated status update for S&D.

Storm and Drive Status Update:
Anjali Torvantine - Incapacitated, turned to stone.
Julius Valerian - Presumed dead by public, grievously wounded.
Eliziya Torvantine - Missing (from PC POV), joined with Luca and Asha.
Tamar Delaney - In the middle of a quest.
Marcus Oracon - Chillin'.
Morionem - Chillin'.

...

So, funtimes, eh?
If you can make it better, don't make it sentient.
