In honor of the fanfic competition, I thought I'd give a little breakdown of the ships in my fics because why not.

Fern and Likovya (Fernkovya? Stabby Books?): Odd. I'm not sure even if the two had time to get used to one another this would work out too well unless Fern has a thing for slightly crazy women who carry around too many knives. If it did work, it'd be pretty cute, but it's rather unlikely to work out in my opinion.

Ben and Jenny (Ben & Jenny): According to Word of Various Gods, this should be canon. I'm just waiting for the ice cream shop and the pet ice mage.

Ben and Likovya (Girls with Swords): Judging by my feelings on Ben & Jenny, I'd say this one stays non-canon, though it has a greater chance of working than Stabby Books, mainly because Likovya could probably bring Ben along on more adventures.

Fern/Nova: Personally, I like it. While I can't speak for Nova really, I do think that it's something that could have happened (and would have been adorable). Still, ship is sunk so hard.

I was thinking something along the lines of Books and Brains or something. But I dunno how well Nova fits that name.

Oh. Huh. *zips his mouth shut* For the record, I don't think Fern has any particular attraction to her. I mean, maybe a bit when she was Nova, but at this point they're friends and she's married, and she's in the 'friend' column.
