Firefly Castle

Since I found the Floating Castle...
But you can't take the sky from me...
Obviously Shane and I should never converse because now we have translated Floating Castle into Firefly.
NOTE: This may contain LIGHT TO HEAVY SPOILERS FOR FIREFLY. If you have not yet seen Firefly, you probably shouldn't read this too carefully.
It all started because Zi is River, in so many ways.
And just like River ships Kaylee/Simon, Zi ships Anji/Julius.
Even though Simon is River's brother, we took the liberty of switching the pair to fit male/female and personalities better, so Anji is Kaylee, Julius is Simon.
With Anji as Kaylee, it makes a sort of sense that Hector should be Mal. (Since Hector is Mal, Ivory is Inara, which especially works while they're temporarily separated right now.)
Ben, as Hector's disgruntled-and-ill-tempered (former) lieutenant who for a long time didn't particularly like Anji, is an obvious Jayne.
Marcus, as the calmest person around and frequent Only Sane Man (which is a sad indication of our general madness level, considering his frequent and egregious bouts of insanity), is Zoe.
Since Marcus isn't married to anybody ANYWAY we decided to ignore the Zoe/Wash dynamic and rather focus on Wash's role as plucky comic relief when declaring Likovya to be Wash.
Kurt is Book because COME ON.
Similarly, Seire is Badger because, well, why NOT?
Since Hector is Mal, it seems particularly appropriate that Luca is Niska.
For now I'm calling Yolanda/Saffron/Bridget as Hara for want of a better match.
Aaaaand that's all we've got for now, folks! :3
