FC Subscription

Okay so Dilly had the hypothetical idea of receiving one FC post a day, in a sensible order, by email, in order to catch up in a more manageable way and while this idea may sound ridiculous and unimplementable I am ALL ABOUT the ridiculous and unimplementable ideas so I figure I'll see if there's interest.

Basically, here is what I am asking:
  1. Would you be interested in this?
  2. If so, what do you think would be a good starting point for me to pick this up at? (I'm assuming not the first post. @_@)
  3. What frequency do you want? One every day? Two a day? Three times a week? Every day except weekends?
  4. Format: Do you want it as a link to the forum post, or a google doc, or as an attachment, or in the body of the email?
  5. Any other logistic details you think are necessary that I've forgotten

Keep in mind that I may not put this harebrained scheme into action, and if I do, I can't tailor it to every person, because that would be REALLY insane-- I'll find a happy medium that seems to overall suit everyone interested.

(And if I do do this, I'll obviously need people interested to PM me their emails or something or no deal)

EDITED TO ADD: FORMAT

Well, I'm the one who came up with the idea, so I guess I'm pretty interested. :P

I think maybe a weekdays schedule would work well? It partly depends on how long they posts are. There are a few that I could imagine wanting to take a couple of days to digest.

Somewhere during the second floor is when things started to get complicated. That might be a good point to pick up.

Sounds legit. :)
The voices in my head tell me that we saved the world. However, they also told me that George Clooney's face is on the dollar bill, so... meh. The voices are more fun, anyway.

By 'One post a day' what precisely is meant? I don't think I was around for the chat and I'm not sure what's possibly being implemented here :?
They sometimes say, "the place where I am right now was circled on a map for me"... Unfortunately, I kind of suck at orienteering.

The problem: because of the sheer force of volume coming out of FC right now, some people are having trouble catching up with what's going on, and just wind up falling further behind.

The solution, if I understand it correctly: Qara or someone sends these people one (or however many is decided) FC post from the archives via email or similar, so the task of catching up is reduced from insurmountable behemoth pancake to managable bite-sized chunks of pancake.

Yeah, what Jack said. So the "posts" would be one quest, or one sidestory, or whatever.

If Google Reader still worked, I would think that setting up some sort of blog would be a good alternative to email, because then I could subscribe by RSS. (That's how I kept up with the blogs related to the ARG!) However, I, like many others, abandoned RSS this June.
