A human voice. October the 9th? 2013!!! Newlight? Who is that? Some sort of evil corporation? Or hush hush government facility? Avatar? Uh oh...I think I read something about that...

When I was studying Big History in Year 9, they talked about a website that predicted stuff based on the news-people would use avatars in the future to carry on their lives. Lost the Internet? Hoo boy...then how did he get that audio file up in the first place?

I think he's in another Crapsack Dystopian World...there's a catch? A chance? For us, none of this has happened yet. We'll hear the message in 2014...a decade? Hang on...the actual date would be...2004. Oh my god. Before Newlight gets their claws in?

I believe he's in an alternate Dystopian universe...wait...he's sending the Matrix to stop Newlight...it came from the Think Tank!

Well... that escalated quickly.
Give me a minute to analyze and get the highlights.

1. Eli translated the video's description as "the answer is always yes".
2. Posted on March, 24, 2014; sent from October 9th, 2024. If we encounter any time-travel shenanigans in the actual story, I'm gonna totally lose my marbles. -_-
3. The future is bad, the bad guys are the New Light (maybe Newlight, but, if we assume that ice cream thingy IS the New Light logo, then those are 2 words). Killed a bunch of people. Using some thingies called "avatars".
4. Some of the Metaguards have reunited, not that it matters.
5. New Light warps reality with the Think Tank, using it to create matter (in geographical proportions). (The recording says Sicon says it's impossible, and they probably did their research. ) Apparently, they can't destroy matter, since they need soldiers. As always, the technology started as benign and future-changing.
6. Weird noises start at 2:00. Since we're explicitly told there is nothing to look for, those are most likely just bad guys' background noises.
7. Matrx (pronounced "Matrix") came from the Think Tank, and it holds a tiny bit of New Light's power.
8. The recorder doesn't think we are going to change the future for them, so we're dealing with multi-timeline universe. Then again, he might be wrong.
9. We are chosen as the receivers because the senders doesn't have anybody else to trust.
10. Matrx has all the information on the New Light. We need to help it.

On a minor note, "God only knows what they did in Australia. All those people." Oh god I wont make it to the future, everyone in my country gets wiped out. That's really unsettling.

Well, in my nutty imagination, I think we can only visit fictional universes, but not change anything. We can participate in fights and stuff, but cannot do anything that would wreck the plot.

I think I've got some idea of this ARG's set-up anyway-we need to stop them from making the Think Tank.
