Unfortunately, yes I wrote one. Once. At age thirteen or so. I will say, I'm still damn proud of those fight scenes. Think like the most epic fantasy magic duel you know of, and then set that to fast-forward with teleportation and time hacks every three seconds. Good grief that took a lot to choreograph in my head. For one I had to do some reading on the theory of relativity.
Anyhow, that's the ONLY thing I was ever proud of about that fic. I deleted it a long time ago, though, so I can't post it and allow myself to share in the shame. Allow me to say, I totally deserve it. Aside from the fight scenes (which I still love) it was total crap. I had no idea where the hell I was going with it, all of the writing was full of typos, and there were a bunch of instances of authorship so horrible that it makes me want to invent a time machine just to go back and punch my kid self in the face.
...At least the fighting was cool... (If I wasn't so lazy right now, that would link to Rule Of Three. Since I am you will just have to imagine it... or something.)
Normal people are the easiest to manipulate. Too smart and they have an annoying tendency to catch wind of your plans, too dumb and, in the words of a certain pirate, "You can never tell when they are about to do something incredibly...stupid."
