Fictional Supernatural Items

If you could pick a supernatural item that is completely within the ficitional setting, what would it be. Me I would pick the mood slime from Ghostbusters. It could make a toaster dance and control Lady Liberty, who knows what else it's capable of.

Edit: Oh and theirs the added bonus of being able to solve any anger issues by insulting the slime and laugh as it bubbles from the negative energy.

Either a sonic screw driver, TARDIS, or the Dragon Balls.

Obviously a green lantern ring. I'm not a huge fan of the series, but one of those things would let me do just about anything.

I'd go for the scabbard of Excalibur. Nobody would ever think that's the secret to your success in battle, which is one of the reasons that it's so great.

Go for the FSN one. Gives super healing plus an ability that totally removes you from conventional space, making you immune to absolutely everything.

Excalibur sounds pretty neat, although I think I'd be better off with some kind of vaguely illogical weapon that doesn't require any actual skill to use. Rose's magical wands/knitting needlesfrom Homestuck, for example.

Excalibur's a great weapon but it's no Master Sword.

I wouldn't know personally. All I know is Excalibur has the weight of history behind it and it would be curious to find out if this ancient. legendary weapon actually has anything really magical about it.

I've never played Kingdom Hearts, but keyblades seem pretty neat... I like the concept behind them.

The only magical references of Excalibur I have heard of were two. One is the ability to reveal the king of England and his bloodline and two only a person of good intentions and heart can wield it once out of the stone. In other words, it will kill you if you are pure evil.

I'd pick the Iron Man exoskeleton, but I'm no Tony Stark to look awesome in one.
So I pick the admin console.

What? :gurt:

Actually, the Sword In The Stone was a different sword, and when it is given a name, it is usually Caliburn. Excalibur is the sword given to Arthur by the Lady in the Lake. Recent times have just simplified the original legend. Yes, I read Sherlock Holmes and the original Arthur legends... My house has twelve bookshelves, two of which are for my personal collection only, my closet is full of even MORE books, and we can't use the dining room because the table is covered in even MORE books, thanks to my mom running out of storage space. We have Two more bookshelves we picked up that need repainting and re-finishing, and then we will probably buy even MORE books. We are crazy like that.

Excuse me while I seethe enviously at you for a moment.

Still either of those swords seem pretty cool. I'd quite like to be able to yeild a sword based on the fact that I wasn't going to go around being a jerkass with it...

I would pick the Guyver unit, much more advanced, can regenerate any lost body part from severed arm to damaged brain tissue. Best part is, once it's on it can only be activated or deactivated. Nobody can take it from you and they would die trying.

I'm not sure... Just a Perfect Sustenance Ring would do just fine. No need for food, water, sleep or breath would work pretty well, any Wave Motion Guns and that'd be to flashy and not practical at all.

Modern Perfect Sustenance Ring should have a built-in wi-fi hotspot. :gurt:

Can we add some sort of passive electricity field to make sure the battery of the notebook/phone/tablet will never run dry while we're at it? :gurt:

If I was to pick any source of imortality it would be the Holy Grail of last crusade. The knight that guarded it was over 700 years old. The reason why he was weak was because he didn't excercise.

Meh. I'd go for the Hourai Elixir, myself. It makes you so completely immortal that you are physically incapable of dying, even if someone travels back in time to kill you, thanks to your soul being completely removed from the cycle of life and death. Also, if you ever died of starvation, etcetera, your body would just explode and regenerate, making you TECHNICALLY self sufficient, if you had a high enough pain tolerance. Also, with enough practice, you could use your own soul to fuel magic, turning you from a normal human into a phoenix-motif'd badass with ridiculous pyrokinesis powers. =P Of course, there's the small problem of constantly exploding and dying once you run out of energy, but you just come back anyway at full strength, so no harm done.

The only real problem would be if the world ended, or if you just got plain sick of living, because once you take the Elixir, there's no way out.

Another nice magical item would be a piece of high quality Spirit Amber. Heart is an Awesome Power to the max!

Which is why I choose the grail so at at least there was some way out. It's powers include, Life extension and healing injuries. Of course if you choose the false grail you would end up rapidly aging and exploding into dust.
