So, who's now broke because of the Steam Sale?

Can't run Civ 5, so I'm playing Civ 4. XD

That and Galactic Civilizations 2.

I'm a bit irritated with TF2's new update which kind of nerfs the drop system.

I am VERY frustated with my drops.

VALVE, WHY THE HELL DO I NOT GET THE ITEMS I WANT WHEN I NEED THEM MOST, AND GET USELESS CRATES AND LOUSY STUFF I DON'T NEED OR ALREADY HAVE, LIKE THE HITMAN'S HEATMAKER AND THE STUPID SUN ON A STICK?!

Okay... This is...

http://paperdino.com/games/save-the-date/

^ Game.
Free stuff, small download. Just get it and play it.

By the nature of the game, talking about it means spoiling stuff, but some context is as follows.

You, as the main character is going out on a date with a girl named Felicia. It plays as a Visual Novel, so you can pick your dialog choices and plot branches however you wish.

It's meta. Very meta. Just... Play it guys, I think this is right up the Metaguard alley. Don't look for info, this is the kind of thing that's best experienced blind.

...probably asked this already, but any Dragon Quest/Dragon Warrior fans here? 'Cause I found an RPG Maker fangame that's apparently pretty kickass, if anyone's interested.
So, apparently I'm the sanest madman this side of the international date line. Seems legit.

Me and Pix just spent the evening working through this game. Without risking spoilers....it's an interesting game. Kinda depressing at the end, but.....it works. Makes you think. I encourage people to try it.

Yeah.

Just buy something from the store, and you'll start getting drops. Some stuff is less than a dollar.

Do I look like the kind of guy who steals his mom's credit cards? Nope. I love my parents too much. I'll just stick to the Premium Gift or the Backpack Expander.

Chill out, man, no need to get so defensive. Besides, if it's less than one dollar I think you can just ask them :P

The problem is, my parents would kill me and US Dollars are a LOT more expensive when converted to HK Currency. Most people stole their mom's cards, anyway.

I think this is pretty much what I would do in that universe. Stay at the fireplace, Scarab. Just staaay at the fireplace.

Dear Esther is a very good game. I would hesitate to use the word fun to describe it, but I would heartily recommend it to anyone.

I have watched this. I know people who would hesitate to call it a 'game', actually, because they consider a game needing to have more than just 'press the directional buttons to move' in order to qualify as gameplay. In terms of an interesting story, though, it's very interestingly done. Not really my taste, but sheer eye candy. :)

Did you find yourself enjoying the story?
