The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth only has local co-op, no online.

That said... I'm not sure what the appeal of that game is. First release took the world by storm, now it got an updated re-release... I tried playing it (the first one) but I don't actually like it.

That said, found you on the Metaguard group and added you to my friend's list. If you have questions about steam stuff, I've been using it a lot for quite a while, so feel free to toss a poke over and I can help you figure it out. :)

But there are seeds, we can share seeds to play the same game, or even challenge each other to see who can finish the game faster. That said I haven't even beaten Mom yet :P I see Rebirth as an improvement of the original game, which is why I decided to buy and play it.

If anyone else has a copy of Super Smash Bros. (3DS or Wii U), I'd be more than happy to play a match or two any time.
Apparently, slightly less weird than most of you.

I'll send my friend code through PM :p

I probably would say the same for any of the 3ds pokemon games :p
Why should we do the right thing?

Steam chat is easy. ^_^ I'll send you a message as soon as I find your username...

And yes Pyro, Borderlands is epic. I need to finish my coop run with Mimsy one of these days.

Oh, I don't know if I already pointed this out but I'm VictinDotZero on Steam. I'm also already friends with Pixel and Endless, so you can try to find me through their friend list (if Steam has that?).

Vic is in the Metaguard group. That's where I found his profile.

On topic, but on a different subject... Mount and Blade: Warband. As if I needed more wrenches being thrown at my sleep patterns. And rocks, and axes and jarids, but I digress. Game is crazy good. And crazy hard. But good. I seem to make a half-decent mercenary, but a terrible warlord. X_X

Both are, UNTIL BL2 DIDN'T WORK DUE TO IT BEING KIND OF A CRACKED VERSION AND NOW ONLY TPS WORKS, WHICH IS GETTING REPETITIVE TO BE HONEST.

It was only 5 months, but those were the most enjoyable 5 months of my life.

I haven't, but some folks reactions as they play through 'em are priceless.

I actually got it out of a HumbleBundle, I think. The first one, anyway. Never played it, though. I know enough about it to know it's a design masterpiece; though I'd get technical if I started talking about that. :P

But it's not the kind of game that appeals to me, to be honest. I'm not the biggest horror fan, and the gameplay doesn't quite hold the game if you're not immersed in the setting and lore.

Yeah, that's one thing that confused me about FNAF. Apparently most of the story comes out of observing the environment as well as listening to Phone Guy, but while the latter's simple enough (when you're not annoyed at his voice or paying too much attention to not getting killed) the first would be hard when you don't know there's even stuff to look out for. Besides, you know, the murderous animatronics.

But that's where the beauty of the game lies in. FNAF gets away with minimal resources and is still a great production within it's genre. All in all, it works as well as it does because of the reliance in the player wanting to scavenge for more information rather than in spite of it. It's what lets the game use every piece of art and sound to its fullest - no detail is wasted in what is shown and there's no filler art to pad out the experience.

The design of the game is airtight. Is what I'm saying. From a game development wannabe standpoint, the horror is lost on me, I'm too busy being amazed by the design to be scared by the robots. :P

*puts on horror snob hat*

Well the horror is actually lost on most people Pix although they don't realize it. FNAF's horror rapidly drains as you get further along in the game since there isn't enough time between jumpscares (which are just a cheap tactic and you're really just reacting to the image and a loud noise if it hasn't been properly built it up). What I'm saying is that it's not as good as horror as it thinks it is.
I say we nuke it from orbit...its the only way to be sure.

The real horror comes from the backstory, but it's not obvious enough.

As well as that, the Jump Scares should be genuinely murderous enough to have lots of blood and Bonnie ripping off people's faces.

I think it's all about how you're exposed to it. I've never played it myself, so I've never been immersed in the game enough to be genuinely scared by what's happening. It's creepy, yes, and it gets your adrenaline up enough that the jumpscares can throw you for a loop even when you expect them, but the horror, like Pyro said, comes from the backstory that I read about from outside sources. I like the games, both of them, and what fans are doing with them (here's looking at you, Rebornica), but otherwise... meh.

Then again, the Marionette is pretty creepy. Golden Freddy is SUPPOSED to be horrifying, but his jumpscare-his 2nd one-isn't very good.
