SUPERHOT IS THE MOST INNOVATIVE SHOOTER I'VE PLAYED IN YEARS!

...now that I've gotten that out of the way, the game gives a discount coupon to give to a friend upon completion, if anyone's interested. It is actually a good game, although I'd personally call it a puzzle game dressed up as a shooter.

Anyone played any of the Trails/Kiseki series? I've just started on Trails in the Sky SC, and it and FC have scratched a long-standing JRPG itch. I'll definitely be moving on to Trails in Cold Steel once I'm done.

If I remember correctly, Black and White had anti-piracy measures that prevented your pokemon from leveling. I am not sure if people actually ever got around them, though...

Blowing demons away with your mighty shotgun/rocket launcher/gauss cannon while (in my head, anyway) Satan cowers behind his desk and begs for forgiveness as God gives the thumbs up is always fun. :D

I've not bought it yet, but having seen videos of playing it (in particuiar, the first Ultra-Nightmare clear), I want to.

My reaction when seeing a certain weapon make its return is best summed up in five words: "Hello shotgun, my old friend."

It's that time of year again! EA has the first conference of E3 this year, and it... should have already started.

And EA's conference was underwhelming! I don't know what else I could have expected from them. Bethesda's up in 3 hours.

I am a little sore that Battlefield 1 isn't including as much bolt-action rifles as possible.

But hey, the Lee-Enfield made it in and most of the players will learn that not all bolt action rifles are slow.

So, as a throwback to the shareware days, Doom's first level is free this week. If you haven't gotten it already.

Also Skyrim is getting an updated version for PS4 and X1 with prettier graphics and mods on console.

So, Doom and Fallout 4 are getting the VR treatment, and and there's a new Quake arena shooter on the way. Everything else was stuff we already knew.

Bethesda have confirmed that if you have Skyrim and all the DLC on Steam, you'll get a free copy of the Special Edition.

Microsoft has started, and they've introduced the Xbox One S, an updated version of the console for 4k graphics, as expected.

Arrrgh...DICE, what are you doing?

THE FRENCH? AS A DLC?

YOU ARE TAKING THE ARMY THAT DID THE OTHER HALF OF ALLIED FIGHTING ON THE WESTERN FRONT AND MAKING THEM A DLC?

THEY WERE A HUGE PART OF THE WAR, DAMMIT! YOU PUT IN THE TANKS BUT NOT THE SOLDIERS? GAH!

Yes, yes, they mutinied in 1916, they died in their thousands in the first 3 years of the war, they nearly came close to backing out. But they kept on fighting bravely and did their damn best.

Oh well, at least scopeless bolt actions and the ANZACs/other Colonial troops/Canadian troops showed up.
