It's like a freaking formula. "Alright, first I'll have the camera zoom into your eye. Then I'll have you running, most likely in place with abstract patterns littering the screen behind you. After that, turn towards me after facing away. That's drama. Then I want you to stare at the sky or at a distance. You can be sad, happy, serious, I don't give a flying fuck. Bonus points if you have hair or clothes flying in the wind. Then, walking, same as the running. Then, something active. You can glomp a friend or beat the shit out of someone in a fight, just do something. And after that, you can look up to see someone reaching down to help you up from the ground (however the bloody hell you got on the floor, I don't care), and then I can give you an anime opening. Anything else is... *shudders* Western."
