Calendar

Postby Qara-Xuan Zenith on Sun Apr 14, 2013 9:51 pm

It occurs to me that we can't risk forgetting to commemorate the important dates we've established, so we need a calendar to keep track of them.

EDIT: Due to popular demand, I am including the birthdates of certain important events/things. Unfortunately, the birth of TWWF is difficult to pinpoint. I am including several possibilities; I suppose consensus will determine which stays.

Sea Monster Denial Day: March 21

Everyone Is A Dude Day: April 15

Date the Wall Fell: July 31

First WTF Video Posted: September 9

Birth of the Megathread: September 17

Susie's Birthday: September 22

Birth of the Coffee Room: October 6

Everyone Is A Girl On The Internet Day: October 15

Birth of the Chatroom: October 28

Mr. A Appreciation Day: November 9

Intentional Typo Day: November 11

Cthulhu's Day of Defeat: December 20

Credits Day: December 27

If anyone has another date to remind me of, or a correction for one of the ones listed, please let me know so I can keep our calendar up.

And speaking of which, it comes to my attention that Everyone Is A Girl On The Internet Day was October 15th-- exactly six months off from tomorrow. Which means it follows that in the name of fairness and equity, tomorrow should be Everyone Is A Dude Day. I hope this proposal meets with satisfaction.

I am 100% in favor of tomorrow being Everyone Is A Dude Day.

The voices in my head tell me that we saved the world. However, they also told me that George Clooney's face is on the dollar bill, so... meh. The voices are more fun, anyway.

Do we have a date for the actual end of the ARG? The day the credits went up?

( Wipes eyes.)

We may need to move this to the section where the Birthday Calender is...

Why? This isn't about Birthdays. This is about our penchant for insane, impromptu holidays. It's perfectly fine as is.

How about we add the dates on which the fictionals appeared or were refictionalized? Not too noteworthy but still something to be remembered.

There is one birthday that could go here, actually: Susie's! The creation of the timeline is an important event in our history, after all.
