Movie night

Movie night

Postby Adell on Mon May 20, 2013 2:04 pm

So awhile back we talked about potentially streaming movies for our viewing pleasure (and to give us something to do), but for the most part put it to the side because we were doing other things. I'm not really making this topic to say that I'm bringing that idea fully to fruition or anything like that however what is happening is that Wednesday sometime around 5-6 pm EDT Scarab and I were gonna try streaming the 2009 Star Trek Movie (as she hasn't seen it yet) and we figured, why not open the invitation for everyone?

http://www.livestream.com/jeoredwinters This is the channel I use to stream stuff for those few occasions that I do. I'll need to check to make sure streaming the movie works, but I doubt I'll have any trouble. So yeah basically this just an invitation for those interested, if you can't show up no sweat, if you want to show up halfway in no big deal either. We're just gonna watch a movie and chill out basically.

I might not be able to make it, but I'll try, just in case :p
Why should we do the right thing?
-Well... because it's the right thing to do, there's no other good reason.

Am I a bad guy trying to be good, or a good guy trying to convince himself that he's not the bad guy?

Sure, I'm game!

Just to clarify: EDT is Eastern Daylight Time is GMT-4, correct?

Also can I watch and chat there, even though I don't have an account?

I think it's GMT -5 actually, and I don't think you need an account for the chat function.

According to my calculations, it will be 10 PM for me, so I think I'd be unable to even if I wasn't having class >.> Sorry guys
Dolphins are some of the smartest animals, yes, but by human standards… Let's say you should praise the god that forces them to stay handless and underwater.

Actually it is GMT -4, I was wrong. If anyone is confused, just look up what the current time is in New Jersey and compare with your own XP

Right, so I'm doing this again.

Blues Brothers, which is an amazing movie.

It'll be on Thursday, most likely, but I'll see.

EDIT: 7 PM, Thusday, EST. I'll put up a link when it gets close.

Right, so there's about 40 minutes to go, so the link is this. I'll be getting stuff set up closer to the time.

The voices in my head tell me that we saved the world. However, they also told me that George Clooney's face is on the dollar bill, so... meh. The voices are more fun, anyway.

Really though, watch it. It's a great movie.
