Name: Yuki Ono
Age: Appears 16, though her real age is about 200 years old
Weapon: Due to her powers, Yuki doesn't need a weapon. She, however, is the carrier of the legendary key to the gates of Jötunheim, where the Giants are imprisoned. The key is a noticeable item as, the gods, the Giants and alike - who are massive beings - already have trouble using human-sized keys, and humans have trouble with their tiny ones, picture this key, which some call
The Atom Key, the Smallest One in Existence. The stories say that only a chosen one or the fairies can find, hold and use the key to open the gates of Jötunheim.
Power: Given her fate and her lineage, Yuki has the natural power to manipulate ice, snow, cold and other related concepts with ease, asides from her abnormal physical power and a innate control over some species of beings, such as wolves and giant wolves. She also can use some basic nature magic she learned from her caretakers. So far her strongest attack is
In The Sky With Diamonds, in which she sends a whirling blizzard at her opponent, sending him upwards, and then impales him with a giant pillar of ice. If neither the freezing nor the impalement kills her enemy, at least the fall will give her enough time to run away.
Backstory: Yuki Ono's story starts 700 years prior to her birth. On that date, the Giants tried to overthrow the gods that lived in Qian to take over their power and rule over all of the nine worlds. Their attacks were devastating enough to scare all of the gods away, but Kan, who is now known as the God of Winter or Old God of the Water, and after the events of this battle started to be called
Kan the Brave since he was the one that forced the Giant army not only to recede, but trapped them in his Underwater Kingdom, Jötunheim. He then fought to keep the Giants inside the dome where his city stood while he froze it. Even though, the wife of the Giant King,
Cirno the White Queen, tried to stop him, but failed and was blinded by Kan. This angered the Giant King. In his own words:
"You can take my people from me, you can take my power from me, you can take my friends from me if you want to, but you dared to hurt my wife and now you shall pay". The Giant King then slashed Kan so powerfully with his weapon that it broke in countless pieces and Kan fell to the ground, so he took Kan's sword - which came to be known as
Kusakabe, the Sword of the Brave - and stabbed him so hard the sword stopped the complete freezing of the Underwater Kingdom and got stuck in the ground. Even with the freezing stopping, the other gods closed the gates of Jötunheim and locked them. Not long after, the oracles sent them the following message:
"The heir of the land of the Giants will open its gates/And the fault will fall for the daughter of the White Queen", and also the King of Heaven proclaimed pronouncing the name of the Giant King is illegal.
Her story continues then, a few months before she was born, when Yoga (a human warrior), who would during these events be known as
the Knight of the Vermillion Winter, entered the Underwater Kingdom with the help of Suzako, the most powerful warrior of the Fae Kingdom. He had said help because Titania, the
Queen of All Faeries, fell in love with the powerful human warrior and he had promised to marry her after coming back from Jötunheim. Once inside he fought through hordes and legions of the strongest Giants and monsters that lived in there until he got to the Ice Castle in the center of it (the original castle was destroyed during the Battle of the Giants, and they rebuild most of it with ice). When Yoga crashed inside the Royal Bedroom to kill the Giant King, he wasn't there - he was looking for the invader - but his wife was. Confusing the mighty warrior for her mighty husband, she slept with him, which he wholeheartedly accepted because he feared he would be discovered and then killed if he refused. During the night, he woke up and silently escaped with the help of Suzaku once again, but given the current circunstances, he awaited 270 days and 271 nights until he was sure they weren't looking for him anymore, kidnapped the daughter of the White Queen, Yuki, and ran away from Jötunheim back to the mortal world. Once there, Suzako blackmailed him so Yoga could marry her instead of her Queen. Since this was the less worse option, he picked it, and to this day Titania still hates humans because of him, but Suzako eventually created her own Fairy Kingdom on the forest Yuki currently lives, ruled by herself, even though technically Yoga's the King.
During 12 years Yoga took care of her, until his death. Then, her safety and well being was provided by the fairies. They taught her how to behave and take care of herself (with a fell fae spells) and on her 21st birthday the decided she was already old enough to take care of herself, so they let her live alone, even though they still live close by in the forest. Yuki Ono lived ever since there, unknowing the world that existed outside until travelers started to pass by her. Some of them ran away while others tried to kill her before she could help them. A few of them did properly met her and discovered she's a good person, while she befriended one or two just before they died. Actually some of them died by accident because of the frost that surrounds Yuki. Legends would surge because of her, about a ghost that in the forest (or the legend was already there before she lived there, doesn't know), though she only got the will to leave her house after listening to many stories about the outside world, and Yuki noticed how fast it changed. She then left her house, and discovered she was in an island apparently called "Nihon". After living 6 years as a maid of a family in a small city, she managed to leave said island, but instead traveled to another one, apparently called "England". Yuki lived in England for about 11 years (sometime around 1969 and 1980), and after that moved to a country called "USA". Her actual location is unknown, but Suzaku apparently receives letters from her... Somehow.
