Double-posting because I'll be starting a Portal 2 run that I should hopefully be able to squeeze in over the next couple of days this afternoon.

Well, here's the first of the two streams for this session. The second will be edited in as soon as it goes up, but they were split due to a phone call I had to take.

Anyway, hope it was slightly entertaining, and I was understandable.

So it some my computer is not high spec enough to allow the streaming of videogames (or I just haven't worked out how to do it properly, either way) so I figured I'd try something different. Anyone up for seeing some episodes of a cheesy nineteen eighties British kids tv game show, involving giant spiders, talking walls, and more 'side step to your rights' than you can shake a stick at?

I'm going to try streaming at, say, between 8 and 10 PM my time on Wednesday if anyone wants to hang out. If that's a bad day lemme know and I can pick a better time.

I will be livestreaming that mystery program from approximately ten PM tonight. It should go on for approximately an hour, maybe longer.

For privacy reasons, I will link to my livestream channel in the neatchat so keep your eyes on the prize if you want to come yell at some kids who can't get puzzles right, and enjoy the delights of 1980's digital technology (hint: it didn't really exist :P)

So anybody want to tune into a livestream of Don't Starve on Thursday? Say about 8 pm my time?

Color me interested. No idea what Don't Starve is, but if you're playing, I'm watching. ^^
So, apparently I'm the sanest madman this side of the international date line. Seems legit.

Someone convert 8PM scarab-time to PST for me so that I don't spend too much time away from my mound of homework due 8AM tomorrow. I have a suspicion that I will be in either Philosophy or Western Heritage, though.

:( I have Western Heritage (History course) at 1PM, and I have to eat before that because I usually skip breakfast on Thursdays anyway because my whole morning is free of classes so I don't have to be up at 7AM. Any time Thursday morning I'm free, but any time Thursday afternoon until about 4PM PST I'm busy. Friday all of my stuff is in the morning, and I'm free once her timezone hits late at night. This is why I wanted to do it on the weekend. >.<

Sorry I can't DO it on the weekend, I have other stuff that goes on then :(

Okay what time do your classes end in my time? Maybe I can readjust on Thursday, or push back to Friday if you really want to see.

....Push it up an hour and I'll be there. The schedule just worked out. :D (Also, I meant EST. No clue why I wrote PST twice. That may have something to do with the scheduling working out.)

I can just barely slip in to 9 PM Scarabtime, if my calculations are correct.

Okay, I can do that :) I'll probably be there a couple hours at the very least anyway.

And Agora and others I shall try and remember to set livestream to record so you can see it later :)

You (Sicon and Mimsy) play/have played Dark Souls, so I think this is related.

That glitch is actually VERY hard to do. The Cracked guy probably hadn't played that game, but unless he jumps at the right moment, he collides with the wall's hitbox and stops. There are a few places where he falls past, which would be the points where the wall is broken down. Said points are also the exact same points that you are most likely to get blown off of while trying to trigger that glitch, assuming your HP holds out.

Other enemies in the game can definitely do stuff like that, and at one point there was a bug that if you shot the bridge dragon in the wing, he would phase through the world and fall to his death while sitting on the building roof where he perches. However, there are examples of fights like with the gargoyles on the church roof, or later on the bridge into Anor Londo, where the gargoyles always seem to perfectly estimate the edge of the roof, even when two of them are jumping back and forth through the sky at a time. They NEVER fall.

Also another well known fight you can kill insanely easily is the fight with Ceaseless Discharge. If handled correctly, he will, in his rage, jump across a lava abyss toward you and catch on to the ledge in front of you. If you hit him quickly in that time frame, suddenly all his HP is gone and he falls to his death, ending the fight at once. However, this event is SCRIPTED, and thus, actually an intended shortcut as a reward for people who figured it out.

Many enemies in the game that can supposedly fly are also somewhat easy to fling off cliffs. That doesn't make a lot of sense at first, but it isn't a glitch. It's just that Dark Souls is programmed such that they are never "flying", but merely making scripted jumping animations. An example of this is the demons in Anor Londo. (Also, logically it would be really hard to recover from being launched off a cliff by a magic explosion, so it is actually somewhat realistic.)

Was thinking of doing another Knightmare livestream at approximately 8-9 PM Friday my time, for anyone who wants to make it.

Thinking of doing a Touhou PCB stream soon. When would be the best time for everybody?
